None of this is out of place in Native American culture. I worked with a fellow from Tinker AFB who was a mix of a couple of tribes but his wife was twelve when they began and fourteen, I think , when they wed. His brother, still at Tinker, wife was about as old when they married. Both guys were about 20 when they and their wives began.
