Police officers in Miami-Dade County, Florida, reportedly arrested a man found with 16 types of U.S. identifications and 47 debit cards.
Luis Bonachea, 32, was arrested Sunday, Jan. 29, in Sweetwater, Florida, reported Local 10 Miami. Police allegedly found 16 different forms of U.S. identification, including driver’s licenses and Social Security cards, and 47 debit cards, in Bonachea’s wallet and car.
Police charged Bonachea, who appeared in Miami-Dade County court Monday, with a third-degree felony. He is facing “16 counts of unlawful possession of the personal identification of five or more persons,” reported Local 10 Miami. The debit cards were linked with non-U.S. banks, according to the arrest report.
Bonachea lives near the Kendall West community in the state. He was being held at the Turner Guilford Correctional Center Knight Correctional Center on Monday afternoon, according to the local news outlet.
Identify theft continues to pose a serious problem for Americans, according to the National Council on Identity Theft Protection. The latest 2023 report shows that identify theft losses have cost Americans $5.8 billion.
“People who like posting things online frequently are usually at a higher risk of identity theft,” reported the National Council, which advises citizens to protect their personal information as carefully as possible.

I thought identifying as other people was A-OK with everyone.
Spanish origin... With some likely Italian connections.

What a dummy. Everyone knows that when you’re in Florida, you’ve got to keep your fake name count to four or less.
Does having earrings in both ears still signal to others a certain ... proclivity?
I did not know that the “...chea” was mostly Basque.
Much like when gypsies come into town, I suspect that the Miami police had a pretty good idea that this dude is connected to organized crime.
Is there a common Spanish word for Wig?
He looks like a 60 watt incandescent light bulb.
We need more and stronger laws to prevent this . . .
“Sybil”
EXCELLENT!
I was trying my bestest to think of Sybil and knew someone on Free Republic would get there.
Thanks.
Naw, just just your average dem voter.
peluca.................
Florida is the scam capital of the US.
Only Orange, Palm Beach, Dade and Broward counties..........
I see something like this all the time when I shop at Walmart.
I see Hispanics pulling a stack of cards out of their wallets to pay for several overflowing shopping carts, choosing different welfare SNAP cards from the stack, sliding each one through the credit card machine, using different ones that look like they are from different states until they only owe for the things that AMERICAN FUNDED WELFARE FOR ILLEGALS don’t pay for such as alcohol, makeup and toys. They ARE cards from different states.
I have posted this before and someone responded, asking why I didn’t report it. To WHOM. This administration is intent on bankrupting America and looks the other way to ALL illegal immigrants’ frauds.
Also, at other dept stores, I see Hispanics with multiple filled carts filled with household items like they are setting up entire households - dishes, pots and pans, stacks of towels, sheets, rugs, quilts, clothing for entire families, bathroom accessories, small appliances and furniture. They are here to stay and steal welfare benefits.
Sweetwater has some neat history. Of now it’s been swallowed by Miami, but it used to be a small village out in the boonies. It was inhabited by little people, and the houses were built on a small scale.

Was he using the same Social Security number that Obama’s aunt stole for Obama?
