College football has a rule about ‘excessive celebration’. NFL should too, if they don’t already................
IIRC, the NFL did have a rule against excessive celebration. It was sort of silly. If 2 players on the TD team touched in the end zone, they were penalized. Management apparently loosened the rules.
They do need some kind of rule. Whenever the opposing team steals the ball and they all run to the end zone for pix is ridiculous.

It is ridiculous but end zone celebrations were getting out of control. However I think the refs can get the point across by throwing a flag for delay of game. That way one can say that the penalty is not for celebrations but for slowing down the game.
