Spot on Berges is proof you can make some say anything for money.

… there should be a time lapsed video of him painting these.

At the very least, to put an end to the suspicion.

I think his artwork is neat. But anything else about him is cringeworthy.

Janis Joplin's 1964 Porsche sells for $1.76 million

That's the one I saw in your circular driveway. I was fooled, too and thought it was by Peter Max.😇

Hope for what? Hope for a fat juicy contract? Hope that federal law enforcement will look the other way? Or even bring a competitor up on, how shall I say, trumped-up charges?

Sounds like a perfect money laundering scam to me. Lots of money just happen to come your way with an excuse for it not to be ‘suspicious’ because art has subjective value.

It’s like they’re committing a crime right in front of us and are probably laughing all the way to the bank!

It's just another variation on the democrat "book deal" ploy that's used to launder money to these crooks. Hunter Biden uses a straw to blow paint on a canvas and sells it for $500,000, presto he's a half million richer and he "earned" it instead of some anonymous donor handing him a half mil in return from favors from Dad. It's the same thing with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Throughout the years they've had multiple "book deals" where they're given incredible sums ($67 mil in Obama's case) to create a book that's obviously ghost written and you never hear of anyone actually buying. It's pretty much impossible to the publishers to ever recoup the money they paid to the Obama's and Clinton's for these books. Who really supplied the money for those "book advances"?

Agreed - I’d love to know what the financials look like for these “book deals”. The IRS *should* be all over it but I won’t hold my breath.

That said, in that form a single company, the book publisher, has to make the commitment. I’d argue this is one step more refined - in that *anyone*, any number of anonymous “art collectors”, can make this deal. If you’re selling classified information you wouldn’t be doing that through a book publisher. You’d need another mechanism. This is perfect for this. You don’t get to question the “buyer”, or the source of the income, and more importantly... the amount. It’s *purely* subjective. With the Biden name associated with the “art” it is a perfect way to launder criminal cash, treasonous cash, from multiple sources.
