Hunter Biden art dealer hails first son after GOP record request: ‘His art gives us hope’
NY Post ^ | 01/26/2023

Berges described Hunter, a 52-year-old recovering crack addict who earned millions in overseas business ventures that often involved his father, as a genius destined to become “one of the most consequential artists in this century.”

“I represent Hunter Biden because I feel that not only his art merits my representation, but because his personal narrative, which gives birth to his art, is very much needed in the world,” Berges said.

“Hunter Biden will become one of the most consequential artists in this century because the world needs his art now more than ever. In a world that beats us down, we need art in our lives that reminds of the unrelenting divinity within each of us.”

Berges told The Post that his legal representatives are the ones to contact about Comer’s requests because “my singular focus has always been, and will continue to be, the integrity of our artists and the privacy of our art collectors.”

The gallery owner didn’t immediately provide information on the lawyer representing him in the congressional investigation. An attorney who has represented Berges in the past didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Some art critics say Biden’s artwork wouldn’t fetch the price they get without his name. Stephen Yang for NY Post

Berges’ statement mirrors an attempt by Democrats to deflect inquiries into Hunter Biden by describing him as someone who suffered from addiction and poor judgment following the 2015 death of his brother, Beau

And his solution to his grief was to screw his brother's widow.

“Hope” that we too can someday paint like a kindergartener and get paid big bucks for it.

RE: Some of his work has a kind of Peter Max look to it.

I like Peter Max. Won’t apologize for it.

When Peter Max was working on a huge canvas while standing on a step ladder he tried to pour into his work everything he knew about the entire expanse of the universe in one big painting. In the round empty center of the canvas he had a vision of a gray haired kindly man’s face, with long hair and a long beard. He felt a shock go through him and almost fell off the ladder.

A few days later his wife opened the front door and screamed, slamming the door shut, thinking a bearded homeless man was trying to get in.

It turned out it was Swami Satchidananda who came early and unannounced after friends of Max had arranged for his first trip from India to the US and gave him Peter Max’s address. Max came to see why his wife screamed and saw that the Swami was exactly the man he had seen on his painting canvas. The Swami introduced himself.
Satchidananda later gave the opening remarks for the Woodstock Festival and was a favorite of hippies and New Age types for years.

Yes, I’ve read that painting exists.

Earlier at the Georges Bergès Gallery in Soho——
According to the gallery’s official website, Biden’s “chosen substrates are canvas, yup paper, wood and metal on which he affixes oil, acrylic, ink along with the written word. All of which creates a unique experience that has become his signature.”

They said a “team of lawyers vetted would-be visitors” and “ Fair Warning: you might not be able to get in.”—TimeOut, by Anna Rahmanan, October 25, 2021.

His paintings are not bad, but sure not Worth what is being paid for them. Wonder if they are plagiarized.

I agree they're decent, if hard to value aside from their "historical" component.

That said, I wonder if he does them all, or if some are supplied to him. I say that, because the paintings seem to come in different styles. I'm not an artist, but it seems to me that since Hunter seems to have so little integrity in other areas of conduct, it wouldn't surprise me if many of them were painted by a secret studio.

Also, It's hard to believe he has time for significant art production with all the other things he's into... drugs... international bagman...miscellaneous legal suits... and his drifty conduct with that laptop.

That was a painting that Jeffrey Eppstein had in his mansion on pedo island. And we are suppose to believe Bill Clinton didn’t partake in underage girls there.

“I’ve read that painting exists.”

IIRC, it was at Epstein’s place.

The clown standing with Biden Jr. looks exactly like the kind of chump I would expect is out there buying Bobby Biden’s “art”. I’ll bet the chimp has all of Barry and Michelle’s books too. Probably has autographed copies of everything Hillary and Bill has written.

Speaking of Peter Max, I had always thought that Janis Joplin's Porsche was painted by Peter Max, because it looked so much like what Peter Max would have painted. But it was painted by a roadie.

The History Channel Reveals The Story of Janis Joplin's Porsche

Janis Joplin's 1964 Porsche sells for $1.76 million

I wonder what it would have sold for is it had all matching numbers & really had been painted by Peter Max. 🙂

As Marshall McLuhan once said, “Art is whatever you can get away with.”

We will fly over them in the Enola McLuhan and bomb them
with blue jeans and copies of “the Naked Lunch”...

Sounds like a perfect money laundering scam to me. Lots of money just happen to come your way with an excuse for it not to be ‘suspicious’ because art has subjective value.

It’s like they’re committing a crime right in front of us and are probably laughing all the way to the bank!

You got that right! A crackhead painting stuff like this? No way. As much as he loves himself, there should be a time lapsed video of him painting these.
