The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days. If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper. If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
Have fun with today’s cryptogram and have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY.
You’re about two months early but OK. Maybe it’s just two weeks.
It’s still January. Geez…
I saw daffodils yesterday, trying to push up out of the ground….. it’s coming.
TZGMZMZ : not a word you see often in a cryptogram…

Solution to previous puzzle (select the yellow text with your cursor to read):
T'S PRETTY CLEAR NOW THAT WHAT LOOKED LIKE IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN SOME KIND OF COUNTERCULTURE IS, IN REALITY, JUST THE PLAIN OLD CHAOS OF UNDIFFERENTIATED WEIRDNESS. — JERRY GARCIA

“Jose Manuel Miguel Xavier Gonzalez, in a few short weeks, it will be spring. The snows of winter will flow away, the ice will vanish, the air will become soft and balmy. In short, Jose Manuel Miguel Xavier Gonzalez, the annual miracle of the years will awaken and come to pass.
“But you won’t be there.
“You won’t be there to enjoy it because I command the sheriff of the county to lead you away to some remote spot, swing you by the neck from a knotting bough of some sturdy oak, and let you hang until you are dead.
“And then, Jose Manuel Miguel Xavier Gonzalez, I further command that such officer retire quickly from your dangling corpse, that vultures may descend from the heavens upon your filthy body until nothing shall remain but bare, bleached bones of a coldblooded, bloodthirsty, throat-cutting, chili-eating, sheep-herding, murdering son of a bitch.”
- Judge Roy Bean
That clue was worthy of Magnum44...!
or MXFDZGX either.
😂
Not yet, I don’t, no.
Made a wild guess at the two-letter fifth word, searched for all of the "THE"s, and it all springs together from there.
You might see it now and then if you were involved in cryptograms with classical music themes.

That’s the word that cracked it open for me. TZGMZMZ
LOL. Great clue.
