What was the real real reason for the COVID Vaccine Mandate?
1. Scare tactic to get more people vaccinated. 2. Control tactic. Letting us know who’s in charge. 3. Cooperation Test. The government was documenting the names of those who were not going to cooperate when the One-World government takes over. 4. To use for future lockdowns and pandemics to rig elections via mail-in voting. 5. Public safety. 6. Following science. 7. To reduce numbers at hospitals. 8. Population control. Shorten the lifespan of the population. 9. Weeding out the genetically defective. 10. For the money. 11. Reconstruct the medical establishment. 12. Establish Tyranny. 13. To establish vaccine passports for a future social credit system. 14. Purge patriots and free thinkers from the military. 15. To destroy the middle class. 16. To establish mass social conditioning. 17. God showing His people what it will look like when the Antichrist arrives.
At the top the motivation is money and control. No less and certainly no more.
I know our executives were giddy with mandates. Our HR director was absolutely livid. Very hard for her to contain herself. Disgust in the whole mess.

You’ve said it in different words, but I’d call it an opportunity to advance totalitarianism in the US, which is essential to their vision but very difficult to do in the absence of an extraordinary event. Another example would be the shutdown of air travel and military presence after 9-11.
Fear is the best way to get people to follow government orders without question, and that is nirvana for the deep state.

1. An overwhelming political interest in showing the world that They Know Better. All the worldwide powers that be. They need to be significant, they need to have the Answer, they want us all in their moral debt. Those who questioned it got swept up in the tidal wave of those who decided unquestioningly that it was Best.
2. Covering their butts for being involved in illegal and immoral gain of function research with graft, bribery, corruption, and conspiracy involved at various levels.
3. Actual fear of the virus as propaganda was being spread far and wide. Actual mass hysteria/psychosis.

5. And an opportunity in the USA to further divide us politically. Divide and conquer.

Many years ago, I worked with a man who was even more conservative than myself. He was also older. He said that if Obama won a second term, that would be the end. I thought that was too extreme a view. Now I think he was right, or very nearly so.
I don’t know the reason for the mandates. I can’t rule anything out, no matter how extreme.
Mandates fit in with the Democrat/socialist mentality. Any excuse is good enough to deprive other people of their freedom. I can understand why so many Democrats and “liberals” support the program. That’s what they do; they support the program.
Why did the politburo and their puppet, Joe Biden, push mandates in the first place?

Mail-in voting was previously identified on a bi-partisan basis as vulnerable to voter fraud. Only the Democrats would see this as an opportunity. At some point 4 applied: to rig elections via mail-in voting.
Who runs the Democratic party today? Soros? Obama? Gates? Certainly, all the above and others have influence. Somehow consensus is formed and acted upon. The purposes are bold, opportunistic and nefarious.

my two cents: the timing and big launch was to destroy Trump, who the globalist fascist left equates with the populist national movement, which it considers an existential threat to itself. while it did succeeded in getting Trump out, it didn’t defang the populist movement. I volunteered for 11+ years at my local VA. Then they said I had to get the vaxx or I couldn’t volunteer. That was October 2020.
I sure miss volunteering, but I’m not risking any of the 18 possibilities you listed.
