Nicely said, MQD. I look at the rage directed at the unjabbed as a very good sign. The spell has been broken and they’re grieving for what they’re afraid they’ve done. It started with their denial (unvaxxed are wrong, crazy, selfish, etc.), and now the anger starts. These are normal steps in the grieving process. Bargaining, sadness and then acceptance are yet to come. It’s in the last stage that I hope that relationships will be mended, but we have to let them go through all the stages. At some point, I imagine their appropriate rage will be directed at the proper parties and not at those who tried to stop them from taking the jabs.

I havent gotten the flu in many years but i recall some pretty intense bouts with it - with same symptoms lack of smell, taste and sick as a dog (as they say)

It's possible, IMHO. So many varieties and mutations are (and have been) circulating around, each one with symptoms that vary from any other strain. My mom almost died from the Hong Kong Flu in the '60s when I was just a toddler, and her symptoms were different from anything else she'd ever known. Yet, in the end, it WAS a flu.
What gets me is how, in 2019, there were something like 38 MILLION cases of flu recorded worldwide, but in 2020 there were something like 1826. That's right, 1826. So where did the other 37,998,174 cases of flu go, I wonder? Probably just repackaged as Covid-19. Not much money in flu; plenty of money in Covid.

This hit home with me one day watching that show Survivor. One of the cute little girly ladies on there hadn't eaten in three days. She chased down a rat and smashed it with a rock, cooked it, and they all ate it. THAT's what hunger will do to a person.

You’re right. I don’t know anything for sure except that I have a coronavirus. Others have described that the flu has any of the following symptoms - fever, body aches, chills, sweats, headache, shortness of breath, fatigue, weakness, sore throat, eye pain, vomiting, diarrhea.
I have congestion, a deep throaty cough, no taste or smell and a sore throat. I don’t remember ever having any of the flu symptoms above before, though I used to get colds (runny nose, sneezing and occasionally a sore throat) until I started taking D3 supplements. It’s been many years since I had a cold. The loss of taste and smell seemed like classic coof symptoms, so I named it 😊 Maybe I feel too good to actually have it and I’m just being a drama queen, though I almost coughed up a lung when I came in from shovelling. All the treatments that posters have offered will work equally well against a benign cold too.
