No insight into Antifa. The only Antifa I knew was an IT coworker with personal issues.
I might try to compare them to the Weather Underground. In Chicago they were led by the trust fund baby of the head of Com Ed. Everything in Chicago was in relationship to him. The neighborhood protest groups would go after the gas and phone company. But steer clear of the electric company because they didn’t want to get in the middle of that father=son drama.
And of course in the larger picture, the sole reason the US left is against Nuclear power while the French left is for it is that daddy had nuclear power plants and the son was against daddy.
I have no idea what the dynamics of that sort are with Antifa.

Dad went fishing almost every day even in the winter around there and Wolf lake. We had fried perch every Friday. It wasn’t until I left home that I knew other kinds of fish existed and they didn’t have to be fried. He fried them with the head and tails on too.
