Does it help you at all? (BTW, make sure it is Ceylon and not any of the others)

Nearly a century ago (well, 85 years or more ago), I had a black nurse (I still get tears in my eyes when I remember her. So many expressions of love I never told her) who would drink a small glass of vinegar every day. She said "it thins the blood."
Recently, I read she was correct. It is an anticoagulant.
