If the question is whether COVID causes more instances than the vaccine, there is no reason to compile data before COVID and before the vaccines. And, that is exactly what this study does when it compares those cases of vaccinated and unvaccinated.
Absolute nonsense. There is not only reason its the easiest most obvious way to check how much covid-19 was responsible for the condition.
