‘Body Heat.’ Yowsah! But I have been in love with William Hurt since I first saw him. :)
Excellent crime story with a great Femme Fatale! ;)

‘Fried Green Tomatoes.’ Another favorite. The book was great and they did a good job with the movie, which isn’t always the case.

Fried Green Tomatoes FGT was the first movie I noticed Hollyweirds war on white males. The only decent white male was killed off early on.

Good point. I ignored that line, tossed it aside. The credits at the end of the movie, showing all the Victoria Crosses that were awarded in that particular battle was memorable and impressive.

“Trouble with Harry” is a rare Alfred Hitchcock (dark) comedy. The “Beaver” was a nice surprise cast member.

You’ve been spending too much time on MST3K.
To wit, the most underrated is “Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny”.

Yes, pretty awesome seeing row after row of warriors lining up for the attacks. Had to be just a wee bit disheartening for the soldiers.
Was also a kick in the gut when the horsemen skedaddled!

Oh lord.
They made all of us watch that.
Not the worst thing ever, but still boring.
My mother hated it.

“Breaker Morant” is a classic. That was during the period when Australia produced some of the best movies: “Breaker Morant” and “Gallipoli,” especially.

" whose ancestors were brought here 200-300 years ago."
but not by me, nor anyone here today, nor our parents, grand parents or great grandparents and since only a tiny 1% of people in those days owned slaves, its a almost a sure bet that NONE of our ancestors had anything to do with slavery....
