I certainly understand that.
Good Mexican food is hard to find in the bay area. I did find a couple of places there. And the taco trucks are good.
Recipes on the web are made up by white people a lot, same as with Chinese and other foods.
I wish we had an Indian restaurant here. We had one but it went out of business.
Authentic Mexican food is nothing like what we eat and like here.
We had a Mexican restaurant open here advertising “authentic” Mexican food.
It didn’t last very long.
Whoa! Thanks, Gran. That looks amazing!
There was a Mexican Restaurant in San Diego I used to go to when on business trips. It was pretty close to what I had in Mexico. All other Mexican restaurants I’ve gone to and are likely to go to are variations of either Tex-Mex or SouthWestUS-Mex.
We have Americanized Mexican food to what tastes good to us.
Not a bad thing for sure.
I’m not complaining. I like it better that way.
I just saw that, so sad.
RIP Annie Wersching.
Go get ‘em Cruz!
Hunter Biden’s email to Burisma business partner infers ‘direct access’ to classified information: Cruz
Sen. Ted Cruz sounded off on an email Hunter Biden sent to a Burisma colleague, alleging the correspondence indicates he had access to classified material as new information is revealed regarding the magnitude of Biden’s latest scandal.
Cruz joined “Sunday Morning Futures” to discuss why the email was “unusual” and how it infers that he had “direct access” to the information that could be tied to Biden’s alleged mishandling of thousands of records.
“Hunter Biden didn’t write that,” Cruz told Maria Bartiromo. “Hunter Biden is not an expert on Ukraine. He’s not an expert on Eastern Europe. He’s not an expert on Russia, but that email did help get him on the board of Burisma. It did help get him paid $83,000 a month because it showed a level of expertise not coming from him, but he was getting it from somewhere. That’s clearly from some sort of briefing. We don’t know whether it was a classified briefing or not, but that is the sort of analysis that is often within a classified briefing.”
Mexican food is a little different depending on what part of Mexico it’s from. Here we have tex-mex. I had Mexican dinner in your town years ago and remember it was really good.
My eggs were 4.48 for a dozen.
From Canada eh?
Anyone see Judy?
That is sad.

My grandson just ran over with my eggs about an hour ago. Natalie has this app on her phone from this large grocery store that notifies her of everything they’re looking to clear right away. She has gotten so many deals - and it’s all perfectly good food. So she grabbed 11 dozen eggs at $1.99 per dozen. Their chickens are laying poorly right now - I told them to check out their feed. They’re nice big, brown eggs - so I guess Nanna is making egg salad tomorrow!
