She was so pathetic when I lifted that tarp and saw her there. It was so cold and sleeting ice everywhere that night. Brought her in immediately, fed her some tuna and she never left my lap the entire night.
Took her to the vet the next morning. He said she had been out in the elements probably for quite some time as her little paws were callosed. Also went to the store and pickd up two cat beds litter domed cat litter box and a bunch of toys...and cat food. She was all set!
For about a year she would not venture outside....then one summer afternoon I was on th deck and she wandered out there with me. Eventually she wandered her trail throughout the neighborhood (I followed her one day to see where she went) always the same route. If i went for a walk she’d walk with me like a dog would Ha! I was so surprised.
I miss her very much. But she really did have a good life after she came here.

With all due respect to President Trump, the Democrats aren’t our problem. Our biggest problem is the feckless, GOP leadership which refuses to address voter fraud.
The same GOP leadership he has refused to professionally ruin by never supporting their primary challengers. Sad.
Might as well get used to saying “President Newsom”.

We just had the most disappointing midterm election in decades & somehow all the McFailures kept their jobs
They sabotaged MAGA firebrands & failed to fix election fraud
But the only thing we can do now is focus on 2024 & put so much heat on the McF’s that they perform

The House of Representatives passed the Strategic Production Response Act via a 221–201 vote.
It mandates that a plan has to be created to increase oil/gas leasing on federal lands IF the gov’t withdraws from the SPR.
The SPR has dipped to to lows not seen since the 1980s.
However, the Democrats will most likely not go for this in the Senate.
