The “Speaker” selection process, as crazy as it may seem, has made it all much bigger and more important than if done the more conventional way. Congratulations to Kevin McCarthy and our GREAT Republican Party!
I’m glad I went to bed at my regular time and didn’t stay up for this crap show.
I have a hard enough time sleeping and listening to Jeffries would have killed what little sleep I do get.
I really do appreciate all who stayed up and all the reports on the TFT, thank you.

The Republican Party really came together last night. It was, in so many ways, a beautiful thing to see. HISTORIC!

If y’all thought that was good, just wait till we take the fight to Joe Biden and the radical left!
It’s going to be hard to do much since the omnibus bill was passed. This was done purposely by Senate and Pelousi to tie hands of the slim republican majority. Also why the holdouts demanded change in rules. Under normal circumstances they would have waited for the new congress. And I’m sure it was all in the plan.
Good morning, Gran!
Amazing that the media just can’t seem to make the connection.
Also, there’s this….
Dr Peter McCullough explains that latest analysis shows Myocarditis now running at 25,000 per million and we’re still relatively early days.
Pre Covid it was 4 in a million.#VaccineDeath pic.twitter.com/jAC4XocXSp— Danny Callaghan (@cuttheshite) January 5, 2023
Isn’t it just the Republican conference that has to pass the rules?
A much needed feast! I hope things are going well for you.
Good there were no deaths. Prayers for those that lost their stalls. Do they have anything like insurance?
Fl lawyer Jeff Childers’ daily email “Coffee and COVID”.
Chock full of good stuff.
Contains an excellent recap of what was gained by the conservatives last night from McCarthy.

Welcome to the weekend edition, C&C! We have some great developments to review today in our roundup: the House Freedom Caucus gets everything it wanted and McCarthy gets the Speakership; Florida makes a big move toward reforming higher education and returning to “classical education”; Florida moves to centralize control of Disney’s special tax district; third journalist SADSLY dies this week, at HOME; surfer SADSLY dies riding the waves; another tragedy suddenly and unexpectedly strikes the Buffalo Bills; Australia (and the world) begin to question whether boosters make any sense; and an Ecuadorian ex-father strikes a blow for mothers’ rights.
Actually, he reminds me of Linda Ghramnesty. Do they all go to the same barber? The one that only knows one style?

That awkward silence right now in America: that’s millions of people realizing that we have a pandemic of the vaccinated.
Ha!
“He wants THE CROWN!
It is unattainable for him, and he knows it.”
He definitely isn’t acting like he’s worthy of it.
(”pit viper” LOL, you come up with the best phrases)
“McCarthy says his first bill will be to repeal the 87,000 IRS agents.”
I’m not thrilled with McCarthy, and he used to be my rep after Bill Thomas retired. But that IS a good first step.
What I don’t get is there was no candidate or plan. Getting concessions on the rules was great, and I am grateful to Chip Roy for explaining that, and I do hope the rules changes go through smoothly, as I can see that is the source of a lot of problems. I always liked Ron Paul because he fought against those things too.
But there was no alternative candidate that wanted the job and had enough votes to sway, no concrete agenda, and they had enough time to do that but didn’t.
🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Very true 😩
