There's no bad time for comfort food, and it's hard to think of any meal (or snack!) that's as quick and satisfying as a crunchy, gooey grilled cheese sandwich.
The good news is that you can use any cheese you like for your grilled cheese. If it's your favorite, give it a go!

Whenever I hear the word “Limburger” I automatically think of Alfalfa and Spanky.
We had “Wise” chips in the huge cans in upstate NY. They were good.
But, I have to admit, there are now lots of smaller chip makers who turn out really good product.
We were at a neighbor’s Christmas party and he had a can of chips. I hadn’t see the big can in decades.
Disappointed; 76 posts, and no mention of Velveeta!
I think of my late dad.

Finlandia brand Keisarinna variety is a Gouda Parmesan blend and it’s awesome.
Mild type of cheese with enough nutty flavor to make it interesting .
Not a cheese snob product. Just good solid flavor.

Partial to Havarti on crusty whole wheat well buttered on the grill sides.
2 slices of sharp cheddar on freshly made bread machine country French bread. Butter on both sides of the bread. No other ingredients necessary.
Pepper Jack
Colby Jack Cheese is what I use.
My white trash wife likes Kraft/Velveeta cheese.(Which I don’t care for)
Ten year old Tillamook cheddar ($ 50/lb (a gift) with chanterelle mushrooms. (couple weeks ago)
Otherwise, medium Tillamook cheddar.

I love the Little Rascals. We had a set on VHS before Bill Cosby bought them all up. Those were so great.
I’m racis’ , White American for me.
Town where I used to live, there was a bowling alley that would put up for me a big grilled Swiss on rye. Yum!
