The Truth About the Brunson Case
I posted some excerpts here, but the article really needs to be red in entirety.

Short version: The chances of SCOTUS taking it are slim to none, and slim left town.

I am pinging my list lj. (Please let me know if you want on or off my list.)
I am no longer concerned if the SCOTUS will or will not take up Brunson. Hostage posted an article by a law prof who maintains basically (my takeaway) that just the existence of Brunson is relevant, no matter what the court does with it.
If you have not seen that article, you might wish to do so at:

As I consider legal action against idiot cartoonist Ben Garrison for defamation, how many of you stopped following me
I consider Adams the Idiot cartoonist for trying to get answers from people who quit following him.
Also, isn’t satire immune from legal actions, being mere entertainment?
Clott Adams fits him well, TDS + Vaxx Brain Fog does odd things to one’s mental functions!

just the existence of Brunson at such a high judicial level is relevant.
It is proven to be troublesome by the effort expended to minimize and stifle any objective reporting on it.
The states control the National Guard.
What former President used the military to save the republic and what occurred exactly?
Because the tiny US standing Regular Army was collapsing due to defections of officers and enlisted troops to the South...
*Lincoln asked the governors of the loyal states for 75,000 militiamen to serve for three months, the maximum time permissible under existing laws. With a unanimity which astonished most people, the northern states responded with 100,000 men.
Correctly anticipating that Congress in its session to open July 4 would approve his actions, Lincoln, on his own authority, established 40 regiments of U.S. Volunteers (42,034 men)*
Lincoln called out the Militia. The modern day organized militia is the National Guard. The unorganized militia is the rest of the able bodied, armed citizens who may be formed into organized militia units.
I believe that the NG and its predecessor, the militias of the individual states, would have been considered "The military" by the Founding generation. Whether this means anything in the 21st Century or not remains to be seen. JMHO

My favorite parrot joke:
Woman comes in to room asking Polly if she wants a cracker.
Polly snaps back:
“POLLY HAS A CRACKER! POLLY WANTS DIP!”
I'll see you and raise you a

I wonder if she’s been jabbed?

“Martina Navratilova, who has been known to be straightforward with her opinions, has criticized Novak Djokovic on multiple occasions for his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Fans of the Serb have been really critical of the 18-time Grand Slam champion for not supporting Djokovic over his freedom to choose what he puts or doesn’t put in his body. Responding to a fan, Navratilova recently stated that she and Djokovic disagreed on only one thing — the vaccines for the coronavirus.”
Oops. I should have included the link.
Appreciate the memory refresh.

And isn’t that all by itself an incredible thing? I’m amazed. It is some kind of leaven for sure in the body politic. And The Powers That Be DO NOT WANT US TO EVEN TALK ABOUT IT AT ALL!!!! But we ARE talking about it!

There's an exception in the event of insurrection.
"The Insurrection Act of 1807 is a United States federal law that empowers the President of the United States to deploy U.S. military and federalized National Guard troops within the United States in particular circumstances, such as to suppress civil disorder, insurrection, or rebellion."Insurrection Act of 1807 - Wikipediahttps://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Insurrection_Act_of_1807

As president of the shipping comany that owned both the Titanic and the Olympic, the White Star Line, it was his, JP's evil plan, not only to defraud the insurance company to the max, but to kill his financial adversaries in what was to become the Federal Reserve, the other 1500+ third-class chattel (passengers) could just suck it up.
JP Morgan's name fully deserves to go down in infamy!
Kind of just like 911. Real estate...!
