(Dec. 15, 2022) — What if your humble servant were to reveal something here at The P&E which could, once and for all, put an end to “natural born Citizen” (“nbC”) debate raging in the comments sections of numerous posts here? What if recently-discovered “hard” evidence – in the form of a letter from John Jay to David Brearley, Chairman of the “Committee on Postponed Matters” at the Constitutional Convention in 1787 – was produced? And what if that letter confirmed the intent of the Founders to rely on § 212 of Emmerich de Vattel’s treatise The Law of Nations for its definition of an nbC, requiring birth in the nation to parents who were already U.S. Citizens? Would that change any of the minds of those who believe that the only criterion for an nbC is to be born here as a “citizen at birth” or a “citizen by birth?” Curious? Read on. ...

Why do you suppose using DNA tests to sort out these lies has never been part of the media narrative? Lies, propaganda, coercion, pressure, money, career advancement, and threats are the parts of my answer. As with Democrats, their sights and go-to behavior involves getting funding to do studies on how to “battle problems,” not actually finding answers and implementing activities to fix those problems.
Why are we left with nothing to show for the millions of dollars spent on lawsuits arguing about NBC subject to legal and judicial gotchas, reading and seeing paper-thin theories on spotty examples of compared imagery, which as one-offs can never be fully dispositive or conclusive, sporadic reports of a birthplace, easily falsified documents, etc. when we’re led by the nose by the constantly-lying CIA (Bauer and Barry at the WH on 4/27/2011) to think the LFBC prepared for Barry is the definitive answer?
Of course, almost nowhere else is a spotlight shone on the CIA’s involvement, just as with the JFK assassination, the Russia hoax, election fraud (as with the Fuddy Hoax), Obama’s wiretapping of Trump, etc., etc.
Through the CIA’s decades of mind control experimentation (MK-ULTRA, MK-NAOMI, etc., remote viewing, astral projection, satanic magic, their ability to create mass formation psychosis through concerted propaganda, they’ve been quite effective.

I don't agree. There was no internet, or any national newspapers to spread that kind of word from state to state. And if there were, there should have been a record of it somewhere, and yet we've never seen it.
The one commonality when it came to understanding legal terms across all the colonies was the prevalence of the English common law system. That was The legal system that was the foundation of law in every single colony, and something with which voters and representatives in every colony would have been familiar.
Therefore, the meaning of any legal terms under the English common law system would have been far more likely to be reflective of common understanding than where idiosyncratic definitions used by some particular people within a particular colony.
It's presumptuous and logically false to imply the Keyes/Obama backstage exchange didn't take place because a transcription thereof is not included in Keyes' archives.
I heard of the exchange from an acquaintance who was at the debate. When I asked Alan about it (years later), he clearly did not want to talk about it, but he certainly did not deny (to me, a "friendly") that the essence of that conversation took place. I'm convinced the whole Kenyan connection was a planted, three-letter-agency meme that simply outlived its usefulness.
