Prince Harry is saluting American forces.
On Tuesday, Pearl Harbor Day, the prince's Archewell Foundation posted previously unseen photos from Harry's surprise visit to Pearl Harbor in Honolulu, Hawaii on Veterans Day. In the five photos, Harry, 38, saluted Navy personnel in formation, posed with servicemen and their families, toured a USS Missouri memorial wall, and shook hands with Admiral John Aquilino, commander of the U.S. Indo Pacific Command.

This provides an interesting problem. He was stripped of his military stuff. So by virtue of being born a prince that even Parliament can’t take away from him would he then still be entitled to the same treatment as the Japanese Crown Prince.
Similar to if that English dude that abdicated for an American chick... went to a Pearl Harbor equivalent. He was still a Prince.
Is he trying to get clout so he can interfere in US politics?

He’s no longer an officer in the UK. He has no military rank. And according to an US army web page, a non military royal of a friendly foreign power is not entitled to a salute.

Anyhow, I successfully completed the PAST for PJ Indoc, but chose my nerd job.
Lucky for me I was given a secondary duty of training “substandard airmen”.
Everyone was higher than I in rank, so that was fun...

He actually did it. Staged a photo shoot with US military/families to release timed to promote his Netflix show. He could have visited anywhere else on Veteran’s Day, but chose the site that just so happens to have it’s own Remembrance Day right before their premiere date. twitter.com/rnn_royalnews/…

They stripped his military titles already. He is not allowed to wear his uniforms any longer.
