Singer Rod Stewart has revealed he called an ambulance after his son, aged 11, turned blue and collapsed while watching a football match.
A suspected heart attack was at first thought to be the cause of the medical event.
The Evening Standard reports the rock veteran, 77, recalled his son going “blue and unconscious” while playing for his Young Hoops Under-12s team.
Although the hitmaker didn’t share further details of when the incident occurred, he confirmed an ambulance did attend.

I watched the local news this morning. A 7th grader collapsed in class and later died at a local hospital yesterday. I’ve been in my town for 35 years and don’t ever remember a student dropping dead in class.
As a woman myself, I don't think he's "got it." None of my friends did, either. We had crushes on rock stars, but he wasn't one of them.
I hope his son will be all right.
Ditto this woman, and his "Rhythm of My Heart" was a bad rip-off of Loch Lomond. (The music, not the lyrics.)
77 with an 11 year old? Very cruel for a child that young imo. But Rod is rich so it’s all good.
Considering how old his dad is, that is quite possible.
My money is still on the vax.

The inheritance will make up for it later...
What do you think of the Pneumonia shot?
11 year old Aiden Patrick Stewart has nephew who is six months younger than he is.
To be fair, Rod was only 66 when he had his last kid and his wife was about 40.
Rod Stewart’s Wiki page has a table outlining his relationships and offspring. Most other just have a simple paragraph.
I didn’t even know there was one. I’ll have to look into it.
I’m in my 40’s and in excellent shape, so I’m not concerned with it personally.
I am strongly in favor of preemptive care.
Same here, I thought he was homely and his voice sounded like a screechy gate that needed to be oiled, or possibly fingernails on a blackboard.
This is what I consider a handsome man with a wonderful voice (my parents era but I always loved their music more than the music of my generation) I did have years of choir singing and piano lessons so know what music is supposed to be lol.

This is the “original” version of “At Last”. The song was written for the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and was first played in the movie “Orchestra Wives”, 1942. Vocals by Ray Eberle and Pat Friday (dubbing for Lynn Bari).
Very attractive, but looks older than I would have expected.
I worked security at concerts back when Rod was with that super model. He was paid with bags of cash back then. You couldn’t trust the promoters.
Mick jagger had a kid in his 70s.
I wonder how many siblings and moms will get some of that inheritance.? And lawyers.
Totally normal for young children to have heart attacks and strokes. I recall 40 years ago when my children’s pediatrician cautioned me as to what symptoms to look for in regards to heart attacks and strokes in children.
Right?

Children from 5 different women so “good for him”? What are you, a pimp?
What website is this I’m posting to? Disgraceful.
It's stuff like this, along with the story about young women peeing themselves during a Beatles concert so they wouldn't have to take a bathroom break, that makes me wonder how good an idea the 19th Amendment actually was.
“I have seen a lot of news articles in the past year that offer many different possible causes for heart attacks in young children...”
I saw a new one added to the list just today.
Christmas!
