Whatever happened to the Hands-Free equipment? I know texting and browsing is crazy but just answering a call with a headset its not much of a distraction you can keep eyes on the road. So sad.
I put this account in the same category as "Libs of TikTok". Parody that is so close to reality, it takes a little thought.

Biography
Ezra A. Cohen is an adjunct fellow at Hudson Institute, focusing on intelligence policy.
Prior to joining Hudson Institute, Mr. Cohen was the acting under secretary of defense for intelligence and security and director for defense intelligence at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. In this role, Mr. Cohen served as the principal civilian intelligence advisor to the secretary of defense on all military intelligence related matters, including signals intelligence, human intelligence, sensitive activities, geospatial intelligence, sensitive reconnaissance, counterintelligence, law enforcement, and security. In this role he exercised supervision and control of the Defense Intelligence Enterprise including the National Security Agency, Central Security Service, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, the National Reconnaissance Office, and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency.
Before becoming acting under secretary for intelligence, Mr. Cohen was the acting assistant secretary of defense for special operations and low-intensity conflict (SO/LIC); principal deputy assistance secretary of defense for SO/LIC; deputy assistant secretary of defense for counter-narcotics and global threats. As ASD SO/LIC, Mr. Cohen was responsible for all policy formulation and oversight of Department of Defense counterterrorism, special operations, personnel recovery, hostage rescue, counter-narcotics, detainee affairs, peacekeeping, humanitarian assistance, and stability operations. Further, Mr. Cohen provided administrative oversight and control of all organize, train, and equip activities for United States Special Operations Command.
Mr. Cohen also served on the National Security Council Staff, as the special assistant to the president and senior director for intelligence programs. In this role, he was principally responsible for the implementation of the president’s national security objectives through the vast array of intelligence community capabilities. As senior director, he was the United States Government’s strategic level policy coordinator for all intelligence programs and sensitive activities, including covert action. While at the National Security Council, Mr. Cohen, under his counterintelligence remit, initiated the comprehensive interagency review of Chinese malign activity.
Before joining the National Security Council, Mr. Cohen served at the Department of Defense in a number of international and domestic operational positions.
Mr. Cohen currently serves as the chair of the Public Interest Declassification Board.
In addition to his continued government service, Mr. Cohen works for Oracle Corporation.
Mr. Cohen received a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania.

He can’t delete those backup emails or even have someone do it even if he wanted to be brazen enough to break the law with everyone watching. Not only that, but if those emails were written while Twitter was a publicly held company, that would be a violation of Sarbanes-Oxley and he’d know it. Baker just vetted what was to be released to the journalist without the knowledge of the new attorneys. I imagine he “advised” that this or that be left out of the release.

They are already dealing with the backups. What was “vetted” was from backups of backups most likely. I’d bet there’s even fake backups right now just waiting to be the bait for some nefarious employee. Plus there’s no deleting these emails. It’s not physically possible and I’m sure that there is no one person that knows where all the backups are. Dollars to donuts the real deal is stored on a Starlink server - maybe even in space.

If you miss it, go for it. Maybe the station manager has had the red pill. Maybe fans have been asking for you. Either way if you control your content, what a great thing!
Hands free phone equipment is good. My own guys use the stuff very well. The shortcoming is still that most folks don’t have it. Might be a cost factor or might just be a genetic, built in, urge to hold it in their mitts. It’s boringly entertaining to watch someone, in a public place, fidget, squirm, try to hide it, and otherwise avoid answering a phone ringing in their pocket. Most often they know who’s calling and don’t want to have the conversation in public.
But the same factors are in place. They barely know how to make a call, are itching to talk, but don’t know enough about how the bleeping fone works to shut off the ringer.
Another phenomenon that’s related is how old guys who never learned how to type, have fingers too fat for keyboard speed, are still able to get on a PC and look up PORN? Couldn’t run a computerized machine to save their hides, but by Yiminy, they can dial up porn. amazing.
