RIP. I liked her in Summer School with Mark Harmon.
I think she was just a great lady...and great for Cheers.
I was aware that she’s been ill for some time.
She was a convert to conservatism late in life, when she realized where American liberalism was going.
Godspeed Lt. Saavik
She did me a favor once when she didn’t have to. Very gracious. RIP.
Enjoyed her work. RIP.
R.I.P
After that, she had a lot of trouble with her weight, going up and down by tremendous amounts:
Jenny Craig fired her for gaining back all the weight she lost with them.
RIP. Loved her. She was a pistol!
RIP. May the perpetual light of our loving Maker shine upon her.
She was beautiful. And apparently had some brains.
I remember her in a “Star Trek” movie, many years ago. RIP...
I first recall her in a mini-series called North and South. She was strikingly beautiful. Sad she had to live so much of her life being tortured for her weight gain.
After Hurricane Katrina hit, I remember Kirstie Alley was interviewed on CNN or something while she unloading relief supplies from the back of a truck, sans make up, camera crew or press agent. She didn’t stop working as she answered a few questions. I always respected her for that…..A few miles away Sean Penn in a rowboat somewhere.
Suddenly I feel old. Rest in peace, Miss Kirstie.
A lot of beautiful pics....at her twitter page link...

RIP Pretty, and, funny lady.
I’ve only seen her as a contestant on The Match Game. She was pretty good looking.
Star Trek movie. She played a Romulan/Vulcan character. She told the most hilarious story about a first date one evening after a full day of filming. She always had a full head of thick hair, and she ran off the soundstage without taking the time to look in a mirror. She had not removed her pointed earpieces. As the evening date / dinner is progressing, she takes her hand and moves her hair back from her face, behind her ear. Her date started to have the most amazing, strange look on his face, and then she remembered her pointed ears. Not sure if there was ever a second date. Her time at Cheers was so funny, and so well done. A very, very beautiful person.
