"A handful of different endings have been shot and are being shown to test audiences. In one, Indy dies but not before handing over his bullwhip to Phoebe’s character."

LOL, I read that as “Maybe she doesn’t kick enough women in their boxes and needs to be trans as well?”
I have the boxed set that my daughters bought me for Christmas years ago.
It’s not 4K, but that’s not a problem.
I would say “Don’t give them any ideas!” but...that one has been in the works for a while I’m sure.
I like Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman.
So it can be done. Just write a script for a new movie featuring a female lead. Make sure she's hot. Somehow make it plausible. Gal Gadot served in the IDF in real life so that helped. Just my 2 cents.
Maybe they should just make the movie, then use a CGI young Harrison Ford in it.
After all, if Life of PI, and Call of the Wild can use a CGI tiger and dog why not a CGI Harrison Ford!
Great link...I really like that guy!
Yeah. His movies aren't good anymore. Maybe it's his age. Or crappy directors. Or he's just in it for the money.
Sean Connery remained a great actor even when he became old. That's not the case with Harrison Ford.
The “Wokeratti”?
I think you just coined a new word. 👍
If they put a woman id tha lead I will never watch it. I hope people notice that groupthink has destroyed any original thinking in humans. The young have had the imagination stripped from them.
That is why they make these horrid remakes of successful movies replacing what worked with stupid woke, gender, or race replacements.
I have seen the real ones. The good ones. The originals. I suggest they can this idea of a remake.
There's no basis to blame any one gender or race. But, if you want to go down that road, remember, Marxism was an idea invented by white men.
Back to the movie: I loved Indiana Jones in the 80's. Back then, there were heroines in movies, too, and I don't remember men complaining about them.
In the trailer, it looks like they used CGI in this movie to make Harrison Ford look younger in some scenes.
Why are modern female heroes so unlikeable? It all starts with Mary Sue...
So that's why I find all the female leads in movies nowadays unlikeable.
So I guess that the plot line for “Indiana Jones and the Nursing Home of Doom” isn’t going over too well.
Hollywood needs to figure out when people have had enough of a particular series or character. I understand trying to maximize revenue from money and effort already put into creating the series or character, but sometimes you just have to let it go. If they actually release this movie, it is going to forever taint the series, and in the long run that will be worse for Disney. I also can’t believe that Harrison Ford would consent to be Indiana Jones at age 80. That doesn’t make much sense to me, and he is almost as much to blame for this debacle as the studio executives, since the movie could not have been made without him.
Looks like what she thinks of the idea too.

Larry Croft?!!
The basis is statistical data for blaming women and minorities.
Feel free to keep your eyes closed like most women.
Correct, in the 80’s it was a new role, not taking over an existing white male role. You apparently can’t see the difference. Nobody complained about Wonder Woman, the Bionic Woman, Ripley, Lara Croft, etc.
Automatic bomb at the box office.
Aaaaaaaaand the franchise is dead
