Somebody tossed an 11-year-old dog out at the end of my driveway, and I adopted her. I have had her teeth cleaned twice for a total of over $1200 and the bloodwork prior to the last one showed elevated enzymes. She had a liver ultrasound and fine needle aspiration biopsy of the liver done and nothing was found. The Vet recommended liver supplements plus milk thistle so she’s taking them. They said not to worry about it, keep giving her the supplements, and have the enzymes checked at her annual exams. She’s a sweet old girl so I hope the supplements work.
OMG...how anyone can just toss out an animal if beyond my comprehension. At least the animal Gods led the person to “toss” the animal at your feet where she would be cared for and loved.
