A few years ago, before the Covid B$, my wife and I shopped about once a month @ a local discount store with basically everything we needed. Normally, it was very clean and had liquor/otcs, fresh stocked produce, beef, ham and chicken.

We had noticed that more areas were becoming locked cages for expensive items. We had to ring a buzzer and an asst. manager would ask us what we wanted, removed it from the shelf and told us to have the asst. manager at the self checkout line to bring our locked purchases. Then, he/she said This was to prevent massive shoplifting.

Once, while we were there, getting more stuff via asst. managers to be delivered to us for checkout. The staff made a PA announcement about unplanned customers driving into the parking lot.

My wife and I just looked at each other and decided to leave the store with no purchases and get into our car and leave.

When we got outside, several local cop cars had pulled up. The cops had tennis shoes on and batons at the ready. One suspect started running on the sidewalk towards us. I got my wife behind me, and the thug got tackled about 10’ front of us by two cops. One cop cuffed the guy, and the other cop escorted us to our car in the parking lot.

He strongly suggest home delivery or a different store, we did both.

Thats really weird. The one I posted said “Benson, please take me to the pound. I want to buy some muscle”.

Of course, it loses its funniness after all this....bummer.

There are some pic hosts/website pics that show up like that.
It may be the protections that we have on our browsers, which is why I always make sure that when I post pics, they are direct to the image instead of the pic host link.

I can see that it is a direct link, it must be something from that site that triggers the protection. Maybe get another pic host?

Here's your pic (I downloaded from that site and reuploaded to the host I usually use):

Memphis is not the city it once was

``````````````````````````````````````````````````
A high school friend was robbed and murdered on the street in Memphis 1967. Broad daylight. Killer never found.
I just realized that a VPN may possibly effect it too.
