Adele's mega-money residency in Las Vegas started triumphantly on Friday night – but behind the scenes there has been drama, with the singer shunning a luxury suite at a hotel owned by Caesars Palace, where the show is being staged.
The iconic Vegas mainstay offered swanky accommodation at the Palazzo Suites at the Rio Casino as part of her deal to sing at the Caesar’s Palace Colosseum for a reported $1 million a night.
The suite was said to be a luxury lodging, with a butler thrown in and the plan was for Adele to spend weekends holed up there with son Angelo and boyfriend Rich Paul between now and March.

I really think it is more about the millions she would lose if she didnt agree to do to Caesars gig.
I think Adele is very talented but she appears to be a nutcase. Probably has real abandonment issues due to her father..and being very overweight.
I don’t think she can mentally do a five month gig.
she has special equipment put in to deal with the air.

During Adele’s first performance at her current Las Vegas show, she leaning over and kissed her boyfriend Rich Paul who sat in the audience. “I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him!”
*It would have been funny if, as the great Torch Singer Adele leaned forward to plant a kiss, her Boyfriend chose that moment to look in the other direction and put his cell phone up between them. Adele would most likely have suffered yet another Melt Down, and cancelled the remainder of her performance for that night. “I was humiliated!!”
He doesnt seem to be that into her whereas she is clingy.
I look forward to finding out why he was only able to negotiate the Rio for her deal....lololol

I suspect you are correct on that one. I wanted to go see her during the first go around. Now I am just not that interested. See Bonnie Raitt and the Venetian in March!

My ex worked for the Celine Dion show in the same hotel. Celine bought herself a house, and lived there during her residency. The only other thing that we heard about was that Rene (Celine’s late husband), had been out gambling one night and had lost a substantial sum. The Management requested that if he wanted to play, that he play THERE.
Other than that? Never heard of anything hokey with regards to Celine, or the show.
Adele may regret combining matters of the boardroom with matters of the bedroom. She wouldn’t be the first. It is common. Doris Days 3rd husband Marty Melcher mismanaged her $20 Million Dollar fortune and left her $450K in debt when he died in 1968.

I absolutely agree Adele is way over rated. And her choice of men is in the gutter as well.
I worked for a five-star resort in Hawaii for a few years. Movie stars, owners of studios, royalty. Royalty behaved well and were pretty classy. The others ... oy! The demands they made were maddening.
One “star” had to have everything white. White flowers, cars, linens, chocolate, furniture, etc., or she’d have a hissy fit.
And some were sweet and kind.
What a skanky looking singer! Didn’t she die from drug and booze?
Although her singing style was unique her lifestyle and personal life was nasty to say the least.
I’m with you. I once had a terrible night’s sleep at the Rio. The tatted-up riff-raff at their cheesy pool scene made a lot of noise into the night. Now, maybe Adele’s suite would have been soundproof and probably too high to even catch the noise, but the Rio isn’t the nicest hotel in town. Not the worst, but there are probably at least two dozen nicer hotel/casinos in Vegas.
