Adele's mega-money residency in Las Vegas started triumphantly on Friday night – but behind the scenes there has been drama, with the singer shunning a luxury suite at a hotel owned by Caesars Palace, where the show is being staged.
The iconic Vegas mainstay offered swanky accommodation at the Palazzo Suites at the Rio Casino as part of her deal to sing at the Caesar’s Palace Colosseum for a reported $1 million a night.
The suite was said to be a luxury lodging, with a butler thrown in and the plan was for Adele to spend weekends holed up there with son Angelo and boyfriend Rich Paul between now and March.

It could have gone like this...Caesars forced her to do this gig...and gave her less than she wanted in hotel stays.
She then turned around and said screw you...your paying me a million bucks a night so I can afford to pay for Wynn....or Wynn could even be comping it for the publicity
Next move is Caesars.
I’m sure the best suite at the Rio is very nice. However it’s at the Rio. Not on the strip, dining selections aren’t exactly high end if I remember correctly.
I’d rather stay in a regular room at Wynn than the best place in the Rio.
Such a shame Winehouse was so messed up. All that talent off the rails.

btw, in the original deal they were putting her up in a fancy villa or something...cant remember. So sending her off to the RIO is kind of an insult...probably on purpose.
She’s making enough money to decide where she wants to stay. I’m sure the Wynn is offering it to her for free anyway. So, why not?
Because Caesars is sinking all this money into her and she is thumbing her nose at their properties and going off to stay at a competitor. I really doubt that goes over well..even if the mob no longer rules Vegas.

As long as I got my privacy and ability to practice for the show, without being interrupted or interrupting somebody, I wouldn’t really care about accomodations myself.
If I had the money, I wouldn’t mind buying a hotel suite in Las Vegas and just life there, like Telly Savalas. I’m not a gambler, but a hotel lifestyle suits me.

I don’t really follow her, but I remember a few months ago when she canceled out a bunch of concerts and left up thousands of her fans out of luck. Many had booked flights and hotel rooms, and were even out there awaiting her arrival when she decided at the last minute not to perform;.
I wonder if she ever compensated them for their losses. I doubt it.
Oh I understand your point. your paying out the nose at a million bucks a night for a Celebrity and then you put said Celebrity in the RIO?
Of course, part of this is because it is the Holiday season and those high roller suites are in high demand.
I still say it is a penalty for cancelling on the first gig.
Given that she knew where she would have to stay prior to this gig it tells me that Caesars forced her hand and is forcing the gig on her.
All the crazy stuff going on in the world and this is big news. Get back to me when they start locking up the DOJ and FBI leadership.
