It could be that your husband scratch so hard that he caused so many bruises that he lost enough blood to cause his blood count to be off.
That’s true. He has extremely sensitive skin and breaks out in a rash a lot, even before the antibiotic. He was covered in bruises before the blood thinner so it’s possible.
