Now it's time to address the elephant in the room that is the rising "tension" between Ron Desantis and Donald Trump. Really it is more tension that is being astroturfed by the GOP establishment and by Democrats. The legacy media is all on board with this. They love it because it allows them to work out their TDS frustration while stirring up chaos in the Republican party..

He’d be doing it to destroy the GOP.
Noem never really betrayed the women of her state. She vetoed a bill that was nothing more than political theater aimed at solving a non-existent problem in South Dakota.
You don’t want a President over the age of 75, and I don’t want an Ivy League lawyer anywhere near the White House. That’s quite a dilemma we’ve got here.
Please read DeSantis’ own executive orders from the spring of 2020 and stop posting this demonstrably false crap.
I never was a fan of Styx. The author of the article, styxhexenhammer, has some good stuff. Steven Crowder used to have him on the show fairly regularly.
You may have left off a keyword: was. He is one of the best political commentators. Those that try to bring up this that and the other are shills trying to defame and make asinine comments.
I just wanted to post the band Styx...
I like some of their songs. :)
For the folks who continue to insist that Florida was not locked down and, if it was, it was only for a couple weeks, here is @GovRonDeSantis in June of 2020 threatening Florida bars with losing their liquor licenses if they didn't follow pandemic restrictions. pic.twitter.com/CwyTuoIAkU— SFDB (@sfdb) November 11, 2022
Then on 7/21/2021 there's: DeSantis urges public to get vaccinated: These shots are ‘saving lives’
“These vacines are saving lives” In his most direct effort to encourage people to get vaccinated, Governor Ron DeSantis said 95% of the new COVID cases are those who are not vaccinated. (7 months after Trump left office)
Yep....the wishy washy, namby pamby’s forget that.
DeSantis’ we’ll documented COVID track record was bad enough. What I find even more bothersome is this well-orchestrated propaganda effort by the media, DeSantis’ sycophants, and DeSantis himself to whitewash his track record and flat-out lie about it.
As a small business owner myself, there are few things in life that bother me more than what I witnessed here in the U.S. during this COVID fiasco (even to this day). I consider it the ultimate violation of the foundational principles of this country for an American to have his or her business shut down like that by some @sshole in government who lives at the expense of the taxpayers and never misses a single paycheck.
“So you would be okay with allowing a potentially Democrat Speaker take over if something happened to the president?”
Take over what, the presidency?
TWENTY-FIFTH AMENDMENT
SECTION 1. In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President.
SECTION 2. Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.
And before you get into the elected process of the president, Trump has been elected only 1 time. He could be re-elected. And when the VP steps up, he is to nominate his predecessor. So the speaker of the house is not involved at all. No one steps forward except the VP. And if the president gets well, he, depending on his health, can return to office and the VP goes back to his.
And according to the Constitution, the President serves a four-year term of office. The 22nd Amendment further requires that a President may not be elected more than twice, nor serve more than a total of ten years.
If you start with anyone in the top two positions, that problem could happen no matter who sits in number 2. All you can do is get the best in the key slots the people vote in and go on from there. And who knows, I just checked the congressional tally board I use and we are up 9 seats with 22 still to be called. 413 of 435 have been called as of 1 minute ago.

Back to bed. "Voting" is pointless.
Back to bed. "Voting" is pointless.
Michigan.
Dude, he’s a devil worshiper. The fact you would consider his words inspiring in any way, much less share them with others, is very unfortunate. I will pray for you to understand why this is. God Bless.
He survived the entire 4+ years of subversive activities against him.
He survived the NSA spying on him and trying to set him up.
He survived the FBI spying on him and trying to set him up.
He survived "friendly" foreign governments trying to set him up.
He survived the 24/7 enemy media that tried to make him out to be Putin's right hand man KGB agent.
He survived the 1st fraudulent "impeachment."
He survived the 2nd fraudulent "impeachment."
And that's just for starters.
He survived more from within than any other president had to survive in 4 years. And it's not even close.
Trump would have nothing to lose this time around.
What would they do, threaten him with another impeachment? Threaten to send the FBI to his door? Threaten him 24x7 in the news?
As for fraudchi, he was advised that if he wanted to be re-elected, he had to go along. Medicine isn't his strong suite, so, he went along.
He showed over the course of his 1st 4 years when everyone and their mother, and all the networks and all the gov't agencies were hell bent on "getting" him one way or another...and unprecedented assault on a President...he showed he could still get a massive amount of good done in the face of all that.
The bottom line is, the next time, he doesn't have to worry about how things are "polling" or how his chances of re-election look. None of it matters this time. None of it.
As for a President - We don't need a fighter. We're way past that point. We need a destroyer and because of the position they put him in, he's the only one who could...or would, deliver.
I’m afraid my favorite president of all time should not run in 2024. There are two good reasons I think. He’ll be too old.that’s harsh but I’m 72 and although I think I’m still able to do the difficult I do understand what time does.
Second and more important, huge numbers of women viscerally dislike Trump. It is certainly misplaced but one cannot reason people out of a position they got into without reason. These women vote.
Reluctantly I’m forced to conclude that the greatest president of my lifetime should not run again.
It cannot be because constitutionally prez and VP must be from different states
The last three running mates who eventually elected president that come to mind are Joe Biden, George H. W. Bush, and Richard Nixon.

That is not true.
Constitutionally (12th amendment), electors to the Electoral College must vote for at least one candidate who is not from the same state as themselves.
Trump and DeSantis can run on the same ticket, but the electors in Florida can only vote for one of them. Florida electors would be forced to split the ticket and vote for the Democrat VP nominee (or vice versa).
So your statement is effectively true that it is impractical to have both the President and VP nominees from the same state, but it is not unconstitutional to do so.
