Oldest person in the United States turns 115 in Iowa

My guess is that her brain is probably working MUCH better than Pedo Joe's!

According to voter registrations, there are plenty of people this old throughout the country - 1000s, if not 10,000s

She truly has seen it all through the 20th and 21st centuries. I hope someone is writing her memories and stories down.

God bless her! My great grandmother lived to be 107, born in 1880. My biggest regret was not talking to her and recording all the amazing changes she saw: the invention of flight, movies, cars, etc.

It’s Iowa. It only seems like 115 years.

Bessie eats eggs and sausage and drinks whole milk and smokes like a chimney and drinks whiskey.

Nov 10.

The party was attended by all three of Hendricks' surviving children...

"She's always caring about her family," her son, Leon Hendricks, said. "She always did that. Family came first to mom. Always."

See, now what was I saying only yesterday:

... Jewish Mothers Day, with the tradition that the Flood was held off on account of the death of Methuse-lah, winner of the longest lifespan in the Bible. Everybody knows what happens right after people get those awards!

Jewish History
Great Flood Begins

That's a charming video and it fits right into the above theme, because the tradition goes that the flood was supposed to be the flood of Messianic Light on the 11th.

I learned from the video that Bessie's favorite song is "You are my Sunshine."

I haven't posted this vid in a while but what perfect timing:

Jo Ann Castle Plays "You Are My Sunshine"

Speaking of ragtime piano and going for the gold, did you know that El Dorado was released in the USA on June 7, 1967?

Don't shoot the piano player because he was literally Joe King!

Here's the scene, for all you history buffs:

Robert Mitchum - Eldorado - Let Me Hear You Laugh! John Wayne

My Daddy once told me what a man ought to be
There's much more to life than the things we can see
And the Godliest mortal you ever will know
Is the one with the dream of El Dorado

Movie Theme El Dorado

the longest lifespan in the Bible:

"Oldest person in the United States turns 115 in Iowa"

Which reminds me...

America [אמריקה] rearranges to the fullest spelling of Ha-Mikra -- the spelling with the Pintele Yid [המיקרא] -- aka the Jewish Bible, the Tanakh.

That "vain/empty mother" [אם ריקה] reading is just a thin disguise to send the Dark Side looking elsewhere for the light. It doesn't take much to prevail over those who can't be bothered to look past superficial appearances.

Family came first to mom. Always.

Why G-d Listens to Rachel

And the Godliest mortal you ever will know
Is the one with the dream of El Dorado

It’s very dangerous being the oldest person in the United States. Nobody seems to live very long in that situation.
