Now that the Election in Florida is over, and everything went quite well, shouldn’t it be said that in 2020, I got 1.1 Million more votes in Florida than Ron D got this year, 5.7 Million to 4.6 Million? Just asking?

I don’t know why anyone would listen to me here, though. After all, I am a communist, a socialist, a traitor, an “ex-patriot” (that one is a winner!), TokyoRose, Chicom-lover, a “libtard”, and a Demoncrat, and other things I have been informed I am, (despite 22 years here and contributing to a number of Freep~A-Thons and penning thousands of translated articles on Asia, North Korean threat etc.) / sarc
I’ve been called names and insulted, but I NEVER (hardly) ever name-call or insult back. Not worth it. This is what cultism and tribalism do to a mind. Sheesh.
All because I never drank the kool-aide — or at least put it down around May 2018 when he started in on his unforgivable friendly nonsense with appeasing Stalinist/Christian-persecutor Kim Jong Un and selling out the US-Japan-ROK defense house to him based on his big, fat, overweight bloviating EGO.
Apples to oranges.
Isn't it a fair question to ask why a Republican incumbent governor, in a solidly republican state --- without a serious opponent --- not win by more than 20 points?
Look at Boebert in Co. Direct result of Trump voters staying home in CO because they had no one the top of the ticket to vote for.
So if the people they endorse or donate to are evil globalists, what does that make Trump when they supported him?
Whatever. We are fighting a tyrannical takeover, and you are concerned about nonsense. That’s insanity.
Trump is DIIVIDING us! He is making us choose sides!!
Do you lose your faith in the Lord whenever something happens that upsets you?
The answer of course is that you are now standing with Mitch McConnell, and other GOPe overlords who have a lot more blame for these election results than does Trump. He is also most likely one of the main players behind this blame Trump campaign, and you are falling for it.
Congratulations, for this is how to complete the destruction of this nation which these schmucks have played a major role in with the destruction thus far, that have led us to the precipice of the dustbin of history, as well as, tyranny.
You see, they view the Republican Party as their private industry from which they reap vast remuneration from "We The People", and they do not want those fighting to oust them from control of their sweet little deal, to stay united.
You really need to think out what is happening, because I really do not believe you want the same ole same ole to continue on anymore, do you?
In short, you are falling for the scam, and you seem to not even realize it. I have tried to make you see the reality, but like these Ukraine cheerleaders, your mind is made up, only it is made up wrong, I'm sorry to say.
Give it some more thought, what you see is not what you will get. It's like the old three-card Monte ruse. Don't keep falling for these confidence games. For the sake of you & your extended family. Otherwise, you will reap what they really have in store for you, which will not be pleasant at all.
Stay strong & remain united. Divided we will fall, for far too many of us will be remaining with Trump, because he deserves our support for the fight he has given thus far. He is a known, where as DeSantis is really an unknown.
Not to say that I am not impressed with Ron, but will he really keep up the fight or join with the swamp creatures. It is after all, a very tempting jump.
That is what we do not know for sure, and why the majority of us will not switch to DeSantis. Besides that, it will only cause more consternation within the rank & file GOPe if we stay with Trump.
Did you actually just try to conflate one's trust in God to the faith one should have in Trump? It appears you did. I hope this was done accidentally, and is not a true reflection of your beliefs.
Just in case you may not know what a parable is exactly:
A parable is a succinct, didactic story, in prose or verse, that illustrates one or more instructive lessons or principles.
Perhaps this article will sit better with you:
“DeSanctimonious” is Not About the Florida Governor
Pay close attention to this paragraph:
That’s why we saw the GOPe primary ‘splitter strategy‘ first deployed to scale in 2012. Romney was installed as the nominee, and gleefully the GOPe watched as he was defeated by Obama’s reelection bid in November. The status-quo was achieved. The DC UniParty was repaired, and all things were back under club control. Two wings of the same UniParty once again giving the illusion of choice.
Quit being fool-hardy my FRiends.
This is clearly a false projection, without specific details or evidence to support your claim. How am *I* standing with McConnell, other than I am not completely beholden to one Donald Trump? I just don't see how you can make that determination, and it appears to be an obvious attempt at guilt by mere and distant association.
In any event, as you are so repulsed at the thought of anyone standing with McConnell, even by long range association, how are you not outraged at Trump for specifically appointing and selecting McConnell's Chinese wife as a member of his Presidential Cabinet?
He is also most likely one of the main players behind this blame Trump campaign, and you are falling for it...In short, you are falling for the scam, and you seem to not even realize it.
I'm not falling for anything, especially not Trump's routine anymore. The concerns I have with Trump go all the way back to his final year in office, and are based on his actions or inactions at critical moments. Specifically, they started with his lack of action with regard to the BLM riots. They grew, with his lockdown guidelines that shut the country down unnecessarily, and with his rushing through of the now proven dangerous vaccines, which he still champions. His executive orders, that suspended rent and college tuition payments, and his inability to better secure the 2020 election from fraud, or at least have a better defense ready. Even after all those failures, I still supported him, as my posting history shows.
But he really started losing me with his poorly planned January 6 rally, and how he has left those people to rot in jail, offering them no support whatsoever, other than "if I'm elected in 24 I'll consider a pardon." Then his further pronouncement of his support of the vaccines, which he claims HE created, and are "one of the greatest inventions in the history of mankind." Combine that with collecting $250 million to "stop the steal" which hasn't been used to actually fight election fraud, but instead to hold rallies where we've been told to "out vote the cheating." This was all before his recent actions of attacking our candidates on the night of their election simply because they aren't subservient enough to HIM.
So there has unfortunately been a growing history of Trump, himself, failing in my eyes. It has nothing really to do with DeSantis, McConnell, or anyone else. HE has been losing me based on HIS actions, or lack thereof, that I see with my own two eyes. Not some press report.
Stay strong & remain united. Divided we will fall, for far too many of us will be remaining with Trump...
We'll see. I have no doubt your level of commitment is almost religious at this point, as your post above which tried to equate one's faith in God to their necessary faith in Trump, but the election is still a full two years away, and a lot can happen between now and then. Especially to someone who is close to 80 years old, has already had Covid and admittedly been injected with mRNA vaccines multiple times, is (fairly or unfairly) facing multiple indictments, has an over inflated ego which can lead to mistakes, along with all the attacks from the MSM and RINO Republicans you're obviously focused on.
I don't wish any of those things on him, and hope he continues to live a long and happy life, but he's just not a pilar of strength right now, and his actions (mostly inaction) over the last couple of years just don't warrant me ruling other options out right now.
Those options will have to be carefully reviewed, and still can include Trump, but his current "I'm perfect, have never made a mistake, and expect you to bow before me, or I'll attack anyone who doesn't" attitude isn't going to win me back. The Holy Bible says pride commeth before a fall, and that may very well be just what we are witnessing.
I think we’re done, at least for now. One’s faith in God is not simply a parable, to be used to compare to their faith in Trump.
The Christ I believe in stands for love of others, not one’s own self, as Trump appears to be obsessed with.
Things can still change, as that election is still 2 years away, the only reason we’re even talking about it is Trump’s vain attempt to force everyone to focus on him, instead of the current election still going on.
The specific detail, which I did indeed provide, is that Mitch McConnell is the most likely player behind this splitting campaign. Its purpose is a clear attempt to split the MAGA voters, and you are falling for it. I also said you seem oblivious to what is being foisted upon MAGA supporters. You keep proving that you are indeed clueless as to what is happening here.
No person is perfect, and Trump made a lot of missteps. However, he also learns from his mistakes & missteps. That being said, he still got a lot more accomplished than any other president including my beloved Ronald Reagan. That is not bad for someone who was never a politician.
Now that he has a term under his belt, it makes him even more capable for the presidential position to start really making great changes and delivering the nation back to "We The People" where it rightly belongs.
Are you getting your news from Fox News by any chance? I ask because your screed about his last year in office is so divorced from reality, I am wondering if you are not a GOPe plant & supporter.
Trump wanted to move against BLM & Antifa , but was thwarted at every turn from dong so. You seem to believe he can be a dictator in what he does as president, but that is far from the reality of what a president can actually do. Nor would I would have accepted him acting like a dictator. That was one time where he listened too much to what those around him who were advising him not to get involved.
As far as the lockdowns, again this was more bad information provided to him as to the lethality of the virus. But he tried to limit it, and fought to return to normal. But if you thought that the information you are being given that it is potentially very lethal, would you move quickly, or be overly cautious? Either way, you are going to be blamed. The real blame lies with our vaunted heat officials who used this virus for political reasons. But people like you seem not to grasp where real blame belongs.
He also tried to get Hydroxychloroquine available for people to use to combat the Covid virus. But Scott Gottlieb went behind his back and made it only available for those who were admitted to the hospital, which of course meant that it lost its true effectiveness at combating the virus at that stage of progression of the virus. Scott Gottlieb then went on to Pfizer. Vaccines unfortunately became the only way out of the cluster-f**k that the so-called health professionals had boxed him into.
But again you want to place all of the blame on Trump.
I will agree that he should have offered blanket pardons for all the people swept up in the J6 BS.
We'll see. I have no doubt your level of commitment is almost religious at this point, as your post above which tried to equate one's faith in God to their necessary faith in Trump, but the election is still a full two years away,
I most certainly did not. I was using the fact that even with one's belief in the Lord, bad things happen to good people. But true believers that the Lord is real and still watching over us, do not lose their faith. I still believe that Trump is fighting to return this country to its once proud position in the world, and that he is fighting for we the people, and therefore I will not give up on him. Nothing religious about my support of Trump. Just a belief, much like my belief in the Lord which trumps my Trump belief.
The fact that DeSantis endorsed O'Dea, really turned me off about DeSantis and made me question who DeSantis is really for, the people or himself.
I honestly believe that some of what we are seeing is his total disgust at what he is seeing take place. All because of election theft in the 2020 election.
If that were truly the case, Trump would have never gotten involved to begin with.
I had never heard of DeSantis until Trump endorsed him. But then again, I had stopped listening to Fox News years earlier, because I got tired, quite frankly, of their stupid fair & balanced BS. I didn't want to listen to liberal voices spout their nonsense, because by then I had already joined the counter-cancel culture.
Ron DeSantis is breaking his promise that he will not run in 2024 if Trump runs. Turns out he was lying, as he does indeed intend to run in 2024. Is that what you really want, a liar who will say one thing, yet do just the opposite? Seems to me, we have had too many of those kinds of leaders in the past, and the end up being nothing but major disappointments. Haven't you had enough of that BS?
