A few takeaways form last night. We did not have a "Red Wave" We barely managed to hang on to what we have Trump needs to retire. The defacto leader of the conservative movement is DeSantis Abortion and late term baby killing is more important to 50% of Americans than crime, inflation and energy independence. Republicans need to field candidates with competence and governance. Either we get rid of mail in voting or republicans learn to cheat like the democrats. We must expand our influence among Hispanic voters. With their family values they are extremely important. I am thankful if we can demote Pelosi. I'd rather have a 5 seat majority than none at all. I do wonder where Newt Gingrich's 40-60 seat tsunami went.

From this day forward I will consider any and every pol to be Deep State who does NOT act to do away with RCV, RCV-enabled voting machines, early voting, and mail-in voting.

Ellen Goodman said it decades ago. Women only want abortion to be legal in four instances: rape, incest, saving the life of the mother, and when I want one. Dobbs didn't change that; only Christ will.
As for the rest, there are two "solutions" to inflation. The easy one is to give me money so I can buy what I want. The hard one is to restructure the economy so that production can outstrip demand, leading to competition in price and value. Enough voters, particularly young voters, want the easy solution, not understanding that in the long run it will destroy the economy and the country (cf. "Zimbabwe").
And crime? As long as I'm not hurt, who cares? White people are racists anyway, all they want to do is put brothers in prison.

People hanging on to Trump need to move on. History demonstrates he’s not all that good at picking people. He seems to have great difficulty separating ego and issues. For whatever reasons you choose to ascribe, he lost to the worst candidate in the history of the Republic. His rallies have little or no effect on election outcomes. He unnecessarily denigrates friend and foe alike and creates strife where it isn’t needed. Denigrating people and calling them names is not only adolescent, it is stupid.
I don’t think it Wil. Matter who the messenger is, the left Will, with the help of the msm, social media, courts etc make whoever the messenger is into a “white supremacist white nationalist” boogieman or woman.
The left has zlways been nasty towards gop presidents, but after Obama, they have really amped up the attacks, and they will. Do the same to desantis or lake or anyone else for,that matter, and they Wil. Coerce the lub,ice into thinking that that person is the most vile person ever to walk the planet.
That’s exactly what dems want..So defeated you stop caring, voting etc...Would we even be a great country if Washington and his ilk felt the same..Those people lost everything, including children to save this country......
I’m afraid I have to agree. What seems to have escaped a lot of people is that, even had the red wave/tsunami emerged, just taking back political power is only going to undo a portion of the damage inflicted on us in recent years.
The accelerated moral decline and pathological narcissism being promoted by entertainers, sports figures, “news” media and corporations is toothpaste out of the tube at this point. The only way of undoing it would be to turn into the very despots that the left likes to accuse us of being. Trump was in a similar predicament while trying to combat fake news while in office.
Look at Clayton county GA and tell me there’s no fraud. Same story in 2018, 2020, and now. Decades long deep blue precincts engaging in fraud.

Personal experience from Freeper patriotfury:
People were still voting at the Community Church where I just waited about 2.5 hours to vote.
Just after 8:07 pm local time (near Phoenix - with polls closing at 7:00 pm), someone insisted on seeing if their ballot was read correctly.
The poll manager grabbed the “technician” and ran their ballot through, and it absolutely changed who they voted for.
The “tech” ran it again, and confirmed tbe reader or software changed their choices to Democrat!
The person started getting upset, and several other people in the polling station decided they wanted their ballots scanned before leaving the station, AND THE SAME HAPPENED !
The person in charge of the precinct station voluntarily gave everyone remaining in the station NEW BALLOTS to re-vote if they wanted ! (Like that was going to change how the readers and software are programmed).
So they are trying to let those who are left RE-VOTE their NEW ballots !
Several polling station’s had already run out of markers across the East Valley of Phoenix earlier.

The fact is, the same hard left Hobbs behind the last stolen election was still SoS before these stolen votes in this election!
Looks like nothing has been fixed intentionally since the last election.
You can have all conservative poll workers, and it literally makes no difference whe the left controls the digital/photo readers and wrigged software.

My takeaway? I’m thinking this is going to get a lot of hating for this around here but...
People are too tired to go through another 6 years of Trump (2 campaigning, 4 maybe in the Presidency). He’s 76 now and will be 82 if he goes another term. The GOP was primed for a huge repudiation of Dem policies but the specter of the big orange guy hangs over all. He has a solid 40% base but middle of the roaders are so leery that he’ll never get over the top again.
He should be a man, hang up his hat - , and stick to endorsements and raising money for others. Doubt he’ll do that, but there it is.

I disagree. You really can’t blame Trump for incoherent Trump haters on the left and right vehemently working against him and his candidates. To me the level of hate towards him, and the reason for it, means he’s exactly the one we should support.
You think Fetterman and Warnock are stellar candidates? You think any Republican candidate is going to crash the PA Philly fraud machine and win?
