Republicans are having a good, but not a great night. Some vulnerable House Dems survived. We take the House, but it will be tight. Senate... who knows. Georgia will go to a runoff.
Desantis is the new star of the party. He took a swing state, turned Hispanics, and won by 20 points. Massive win. He is now firmly in Trump's sights and he will do whatever he can to cut Desantis down.
Those are preliminary nos, of course, but for NY’ers not to dump Hochul is stunning.
Kind of odd that the polls showed it to be a fairly tight race and yet she is miles ahead. Why do you think that is? Mail in ballots?

Looks like McConnell could be the big winner. He stays in the minority and keeps his “leadership” job.
Here in Texas, the incumbents are largely winning. Nothing earth shattering.
They need a million more illegals bused to their sanctuary state.

The thing everyone is forgetting, is that we were already at 212 in the House which is almost a majority. We’re having a different conversation tonight if we were at 195 when the night began.
Now, the Senate is somewhat disappointing. Bolduc was always a long shot, and Masters is not looking good, nor is Oz. But, we will hold NC, OH, WI, Herschel will end up pulling this out, and let’s see where NV ends up.

There are still a lot of votes to count, but I am stunned by the number of upstate counties where Hochul is in the lead. These are historically red Counties that were solid for Trump and his GOP predecessors. Maybe we have reached the point where so many republicans have fled the state that only RATs are left to vote. We will be one of the soon leaving NY with two less conservatives.
Just tell Russia that Philadelphia, Atlanta, Detroit, Milwaukee and Phoenix want to go to war for Ukraine. The resulting nuclear explosions will solve most of our problems.
Kinda surprised at that margin. NY must love misery.
I think that’s a factor. A lot of true conservatives have moved to Florida
