Report from the trenches.
I was an election officer today in a deep blue district. My first time as an election officer.
So... I don’t know what is normal, but everyone with experience thought the turnout was high. In my district the in person turnout today was around 50% of registered voters. Pretty high for a midterm election, I think. That does not account for all the early and absentee voting. Who knows how many voted early or by absentee ballot.
We had several odd situations where people’s ID didn’t match the poll book. Possible fraud, but also possibly honest errors somewhere.
The thing that MOST concerned me is that the ballots are counted electronically, the vote totals are printed out on a “cash register receipt”. The physical ballots are sealed in a box.
There is no way I am comfortable that the numbers printed on the receipt match up with the ballots in the box. I’m not claiming that there was fraud. I’m just saying that unless someone opens that box and does a hand count to see if the numbers match up, I will NEVER have confidence in the result. Even if the Republican wins.
My poll team (Rs, Ds, Independents) were are great to work with. I would not suspect any of them of any fraud at all. But at the end of the night, when we boxed up the ballots to deliver to the next official(s) in the line of custody, I have no idea what happens to them. (I need to research a bit.)
Anyway, that’s my take on today’s events in one precinct in the USA.

Yup, because none of what we’re seeing makes sense other than it being rigged.

Terrible agendas being pushed
Exit polling showing 70% of the voters are angry at the democrats
But yet, none of this is impacting many races around the country like it should. We can still overwhelm but it is frustrating seeing this happen again to us.
Arizona the machines are broken down. Meaning those are early voting counts which are mostly normies and democrats. They will have to throw away a lot of votes to win.
