Your analysis of the Trump-DeSantis situation makes a lot of sense. DeSantis will inspire much more loyalty among hardcore Trump supporters if he’s patient, loyal to PDJT, and doesn’t try to jump the line. We’ve already seen the value of a Trump endorsement and it would be extremely foolish of him to risk losing that for an earlier, but risky, shot at something that’s almost inevitable if he waits.

She’s right, but she needs to win in order to “clean up elections,” and there’s no way they’re going to let that happen. Unless they are arrested while in the act, they’ll pull it off just like they did in 2016, 2014, 2012, and every year before that when McCain “won,” although that was less about ballot stuffing and more about allowing Independents and Democrats vote in the Open primary.
