The simple fact is that both Hebrew and Greek had no separate system of numbers as modern languages do; in Hebrew the first letter א aleph equals the number one, the tenth letter י Yodh equals ten, etc. Greek applies the same system to their alphabet.

On election night my kids and I were discussing where to go if we left Las Vegas. I voted for Idaho or Montana, the kids voted for Texas, Tennessee or Florida. My DIL wants to move to North Carolina since her name is Carolina lol.
I love it in Las Vegas. I love the weather here and when I look around, there are very few places that match it. I especially hate the rain and cold but like you, I would be willing to move to get away from the population here.
