In defense of electoral skepticism

Nowadays, whenever Democrats beat the odds and pull a victory out of (well, you know where), any serious doubt that is cast upon their success is considered by them to be a criminal act. However, when Republicans literally “shellack” the Democrats, democracy itself is being threatened.

Way back in 1960, when John F. Kennedy beat Richard Nixon in a true squeaker, my father told me that, had Nixon demanded a recount in Cook County, Illinois, he’d have won the election. Why would my dad say that? In his youth, he was employed to count ballots in Chicago. Well, they didn’t really count them. They weighed them on meat scales from the stockyards.

Harkening back to the election of 1876, neither Rutherford B. Hayes (R) nor Samuel J. Tilden (D) was able to acquire a majority of votes in the Electoral College. In accord with the Constitution, the contest was thus decided by the House of Representatives… where the fix was in. The historic backroom deal that was made let the Republicans continue holding onto the White House, while the Democrats were given an end to Reconstruction. When the Union army was removed from the old Confederacy, the imposition of Jim Crow began in earnest.

Continuing to rattle around in today’s political discourse is, of course, the election of 2020. Fueling this discord is Biden’s bumbling incompetence -- which was plainly obvious long before 2020. But the truly empirical anomaly of that election is the objective fact of an incumbent president losing to such a weak opponent while his party still managed to pick up fourteen seats in the House of Representatives. Dinesh D'Souza’s 2,000 Mules adequately documents the reasons for much of this discrepancy… but Biden and Harris were still inaugurated. Just as was Rutherford B. Hayes.

Will there be water leaks all over the country on Tuesday?

It will be very sweet if the Republicans do well on Tuesday and the Democrats decide to deny the validity of the election. I’m sure the media will agree that the results should be overturned. For the children.

I’m not sure the historical examples hold a candle to the institutional fraud and criminal activity now employed to grease the wheels of communist control under which freedom loving Americans are currently oppressed. DOJ, Media, FBI, CIA to name a few.

The media are election fraud deniers.

From where I sit, we don’t need to defend anything whatsoever.

The prima facie evidence is right there:

All this tech (I’m not talking about all the vulnerabilities), yet they qualify delays in counting. It now takes longer to count votes than ever before in history.

BFing DUH:

The fix is in.

What is so fascinating about the voter fraud issue is how it spun by the MSM.

They claim that there is no evidence of wide spread fraud, yet we see multiple reports of cheating or attempted election fraud happening around the country. I guess, because it doesn’t happen world-wide, they can hide behind the “not wide spread” moniker.

Not only is it wide spread, it being committed almost exclusively by Democrats. Rather than working to convince the voters to vote for them and their policies, they dedicate their time to how they can cheat to steal the elections. They know they don’t have to worry about being caught, because they’ll likely never be prosecuted or punished for their crimes.

We’re watching this campaign season wrapping up, where the Democrats all across this country were able to away with not campaigning on the issues, but being able to dictate the narrative that their political opponents, the Republicans, were a danger to democracy. All without ever being what their evidence of this is.

We’ve been demonized (literally) by our political opponents and the willing MSM. But now, it’s time to vote . . .

Huh? Who writes this stuff?

Congress went totally outside the Constitution and appointed a commission of 4 Republicans and 3 Democrats to decide which slates of electors from the southern state under military occupation would be admitted to the joint session of Congress when electoral votes would be counted. Competing slates had come from the popular vote and from the state's carpetbagger legislature. In every case, the commission voted 4-to-3 to admit the legislature's slate.

This was further confirmed as the correct decision by the US Supreme Court in 1877 when the case came before it. State legislatures don't even have to call a poplar election for president. State legislatures can even reverse a popular vote for president and appoint its own electors. State legislatures have plenary authority over this process.

```````````````````````````````````````
Then your father lied to you. Kennedy wins the election even had Illinois electoral votes gone to Nixon. Time to put old canards to rest.
Don’t believe me? Look up 1960 election results.
