25th Amendment now floated as Dem solution to Joe Biden problem
WND ^ | Nov 2, 2022 | Bob Unruh

Leftists in the media and politics in America forced on the nation during President Trump's term a lengthy discussion about the 25th Amendment.

That allows for an orderly transfer of power should a president become unable to perform his duties.

But Democrats just wanted to get rid of Trump, and the amendment discussion was one of many schemes they developed over the time of Trump's term.

[snip] "Democrats even tried but failed to establish a 'presidential disability review body' in 2017 to help with the ousting process," wrote Merrill Matthews, a resident scholar with the Institute for Policy Innovation.

That discussion now has been resurrected, only this time it's because of the concern over "President Biden's mental health." [snip]

"The fourth section [of the 25th Amendment] is the only one that has never been implemented. It provides for the involuntary replacement of the president when the 'Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments [i.e., the Cabinet] or of such other body as Congress may by law provide' determine that the 'President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.'"

Merrill said it's unlikely Kamala Harris ever would make such a move.

Whoever was on Team Biden knew what they were doing when they picked Heels Up as Vice President. She’s the perfect insurance policy against any attempt to remove Biden.

It’s a trap. It takes an act of congress after the cabinet acts on the 25th, so they will be able to blame it on the Republicans that got rid of their beloved President who got the most votes in history.

As richly deserved as an impeachment would be, I’m doubting the Reps could or would pull that kind of thing together. It would be way out of character, plus I’d suspect that would seriously bolster the Dem cause for ‘24. They’re just too cowardly for that; plus it would seat Kamala Harris. And then where would we be? I am no expert on these things, nor am I a good predictor, but I think the Reps leave the Biden unit in office and look for a decade-long dominance in the Senate & House.

Impeachment does NOT remove anyone from office!
Clinton was impeached! Was he removed from office?
Trump was impeached twice! Was he removed from office?
Trial in the Senate follows House bill of impeachment.
It takes a trial in the Senate with 67 votes for conviction to get removal from office! Good luck getting that!

It seems as though just his hatred of America and American people would be enough to bounce his ass out of the Oval Office.

“If Republicans gain a Senate majority, they will impeach him”

If they do I hope they have irrefutable, demonstrable evidence.

I would relish the notion that the woman who slept her way to the top was the first person to use the 25th amendment to take her boss's job from him.

What a role model for young women that would be.

You can always count on the liberal media to take the smallest isolated thing and blow it up to be an “issue of national importance” (and one that always favors the Democrats). Nothing is too small that it can’t be exploited for political benefit.

We know that Biden isn’t in charge. Impeaching him serves no purpose. Doing so also would elevate the skank. It would be an insult to women for that cow to be the first female president. The entire administration needs to go. Now.

You are right. It’s sad to see how many people don’t understand the 25th amendment.

If something like this happens look to being managed something along the lines of the Agnew-Nixon-Ford-Rockefeller transition. Not exactly but in that general procedure.

Between today and 3 Jan 2023 the Dems have sufficient votes to remove Joey without a single Repub vote. However, after 3 Jan the possible removal of Joey will get very interesting. Repubs will need to play a significant role after 3 Jan. Dems may wait just to blame Repubs.

Joey may screw us all and resign at which point the choice of VP will be in the hands of Repubs and THAT will be a real food fight.

Don't impeach him. Let his worsening insanity be exposed for all the world to see.

"Yes kids, that Jao Bai-din, the Democrat president who repeatedly yelled the n-word from the White House podium."

It takes 2/3 of the senate to remove him from office, that will never happen.

I know right? I don’t like it when people “on our side” talk out of their arse about this. I conclude that people (on either side) who tout this are either incredibly ignorant or lying.
