1st day of partial processing of absentee ballots here in Michigan today. We don’t do results, just verify ballots coming in match up to voters on the rolls. Already noticing consistent irregularities in at least 12% in the 400+ ballots I looked at (sorry, don’t want to get into specifics right now), and today’s session processed over 24k ballots.
The top group of people I’m working with for challengers/poll watchers are pretty hardcore to make sure the election is as honest as we can make it. We also have a lot of election newbies getting their feet wet, but dedicated as they know there shouldn’t be a repeat of 11/2020. Today I met three people that have traveled at least 2.5 hours from different parts of the state to help ensure the election work in Detroit is as clean as we can make it.
There’s still a lot of what I would term “unnecessary rules” (masks, can’t talk to election processors, just election precinct manager, etc.), along with a few people trying to be “enforcers” for the numerous rules. Today was just the opening round. Tomorrow will be more Absent Voter Counting Board (ACVB) work, followed by the mayhem of election day. I signed up for the later shift Tuesday. It “should be an event”.
Incredible work you are doing, thank you. Insane they are forcing mazks. So I assume the ones with irregularities won’t be counted?

Hoping against all history that the same can be done in Alameda County, CA.
Posted this in the California forum.

so, will identification of these irregularities throw these ballots into the adjudication process next?
May the Lord bless you for your efforts.
