1st day of partial processing of absentee ballots here in Michigan today. We don’t do results, just verify ballots coming in match up to voters on the rolls. Already noticing consistent irregularities in at least 12% in the 400+ ballots I looked at (sorry, don’t want to get into specifics right now), and today’s session processed over 24k ballots.

so, will identification of these irregularities throw these ballots into the adjudication process next?

There’s several options, but I’m definitely not the final authority.
1 Challenge, throw out just these ballots. Intermittent whining will commence. Trying this route will probably lead to #2.
2. Point out there’s a systemic issue. If it can’t be readily solved, these precincts can’t be certified. Whining will proceed in earnest, the media will call the band to start warming up.
3. “Evil Republicans prevent election certification…” to be heard nonstop on the airwaves.
Ok, maybe those aren’t options but the sequence.
