“We did not fight a civil war about oboe players,” Roberts replied to Waxman.
(I had to look it up, too! How did we miss that here on FReeQ thread?)

This morning I was at the farmers market buying my organic veggies and fruit. As you can imagine, this market is filled with granolas, crunchy hippies, and suburban soccer moms. A lot of teens and twenty-somethings were out and about also because they were having some sort of “bark in the park” event and there were multitudes of “doggos” ( to use Millennial speak) underfoot.
It was really crowded and as I was perusing the selection of Bartlett pears, I noticed a lady next to me wearing a denim jacket with several “Kari Lake for Governor” pins on it over a Kari Lake t-shirt. With a sideways glance at the people around me, I said to her, “I like your pins!” She replied, “Oh thanks! We were out door-knocking this morning, but I had to take a break to come to the market.”
All of a sudden, everyone spun around to look at us. And this is what I heard:
“Oh I really like her too!”
“Hey, where can I get one of those t-shirts?” (This from a young woman with a dog who looked to be college-age.)
“Thank you for getting the word out.”
“I’m from Chicago and I moved to get away from all the b—s—. Kari Lake HAS to win.”
Just my little anecdote, but I thought y’all would appreciate it. Let’s get this done this week!
I’m an oboe player! What do I win?
