I guess once these medical people have dug their heels in, telling everyone they’re some kind of selfish lunatic if they don’t get jabbed, that they have to keep ignoring what’s going on as a matter of self-preservation. The prosecution need not be “necessary.” Smith has a green light to indict Trump.
Justice Scalia’s admonition in Morrison v. Olson about the independent counsel aptly describes our present moment:
