Dear L Dotters. We are heartbroken. Our beloved Lucianne passed away peacefully and surrounded by loved ones in her own home, the way she wanted. But she has left a whole in our lives that we can never fill completely.
Lucianne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a patriot who expressed her love of this country with both political fierceness and penetrating wit.
In that part of her world this site became her home, her community, and her voice. She also wanted Lucianne.com to endure and she made arrangements that it would do so - just as it has for the past 25 years. The same loyal staff, the same policies, and the same principles. ( And before you ask, her son Jonah will not be involved. She loved her son without reservation, but they saw politics differently from time to time. So, we've worked it out. The Lucianne.com team will stay on and Jonah will stay out of it.)
Obviously, no one can replace Lucianne. But we can carry-on in her name. We're not asking you to send money or make donations to anything. We're just asking you to stick around. We think that's the best way to honor and keep her memory alive. Please keep her light shining.
Maybe Lucianne really was a true patriot:
“...but they saw politics differently from time to time.”
RIP, Lucianne.
Great Lady has left us!!! May Lucianne R.I.P. with our Lord God Almighty. Heaven sings her arrival after her fantastic life and contribution to our beloved USA!!! Thank you.....Madam, Angel!!!
IIRC, she coined the term ‘FREEPER’..............
A former member here.Eternal rest .
RIP to a great patriot lady.
I can’t recall, but I think her FReper handle was ‘Trixie’ or similar.................
In the late 90’s I lurked here and posted at Lucianne.com til I got kicked off in 2000.
Did a 180 and glad it happened.
Other than that, I have a lot of respect for her.
RIP
She was the person who protected Monica Lewinski and urged her to come forward. She told Monica to not have the blue dress cleaned.
RIP dear FRiend.
A pioneer in conservative social media.
Trixie, right?
Aw, RIP for sure. Used to be a regular lurker over there before becoming a regular lurker over here. I discovered LDot through Drudge right after 9/11.
Discovered FR through Drudge as well a few years later.
Sorry to hear of her passing. I was a member of Lucianne.com from day one, until I, like so many, got banned. And then unfortunately the site became a shell of what it was. But then I found FR.
Lucianne was a patriot. Interesting to hear that she and her son, Jonah, (never-Trumper) were not always on the same page politically.
I got kicked off there on 2012 over a comment I made about the Sandyhook shooting meaning there’d be fewer democrat voters in 20 years.
I registered under another name and email.
i found out about Free Republic on L.com
shortly before i was kicked off... 8^)
That was Tripp, I believe.
Forget,it was so long ago.I spoke with her-she was fun.
