I can't believe this needs to be said, but Ukraine is not in NATO. It is a highly corrupt country. It is not a "democracy." It has banned 10 political parties. It is not a US state. It has millions of ethnic Russians. This conflict is not worth starting a nuclear war over.
I am not sure what drugs the rest of the media is on, but these things need to be said to the audience when reporting on this conflict. There are only MILLIONS OF LIVES at stake.

Can I get a Hunter Biden job in Ukraine?
That ought to keep you busy for a while :)
How about for once we let Europe take care of itself? We have bailed their asses out twice in the last 100 years at great cost— I think that’s enough
"We should be involved in any way, shape for form,"
We should NOT be involved in any way, shape or form, ...
“I can name a hundred more corrupt countries on all levels“
Good. I don’t want my tax money going to them , either.
Even if true, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Thus, we are friends with Ukraine.
“Almost 90% of the industrial laser grade Neon gas is made in Ukraine...”
Why can’t WE make it? Is it like natgas?
It really is starting to look like the armchair nuc theoreticians may get a chance to test their theories that tactical nuke conflict is effective and containable and US superiority is our shield
you lay it out well.
it is putin who is corrupt and evil
the Ukrainians are willing to fight and die for all of us
the least we can do is get them the weapons they need, imo
It’s highly corrupt due to RuSSia’s influence. Putin has tried for 20+ years to make it a RuSSian puppet state.
And it actually IS a democracy, especially when compared to RuSSia. Ukraine has had a bunch of elected leaders.
Stop posting Putinist doggerel from Twatter idiots.
A story written by an author whose byline is literally what he used to do. And for those of you who are not familiar with network news rooms…assistant producers are the very bottom rung of the ladder.
Not exactly a literary or journalistic “force.”
Corruption lurks everywhere. Why, some people even give the old college try at ranking it!

Georgia attacker Russian peacekeepers pressing in their area under a UN mandate. NATO won’t stop screwing with Russia and they finally got a red line. Putin learned the lesson of Munich… eventually appeasement doesn’t work and you have to use force against aggressive globalist socialist entities. So he did.
He’s a statesman.
They identify as NATO./s
That seems like a message that should be directed at Putin. He and his government are the only people talking about starting a nuclear war.
What is the point of sending that message to the rest of the world? Nobody else is threatening to use nuclear weapons.
Hear, hear!
Thank you! And I agree.
