The Northman
Lots of violence around 900 A.D. Mystical rituals. Revenge. The Vikings were pretty hard core. Winter all the time pretty much. In rotation on amazon.

Look for movies that critics describe as fascist. “Dirty Harry” and “Death Wish” come to mind.

Watch the “Mystery Science Theater 3000” channel on Pluto TV. Ultimate escape. And hilariously bad movies.

ED WOOD! It’s also perfect for Halloween season. The relationship between Ed and Bela Lugosi is authentic. It’s easy fun, great acting, brilliant writing, and excellent directing and production design. My company spokesperson, Mike Starr, is in it. Great actor!

My favorite movie of all time, Best Movie for 1946:
LINK TO FREE VERSION: "The Best Years of Our Lives"
Synopsis: "The Best Years of Our Lives" is a 1946 American epic drama film directed by William Wyler, and starring Myrna Loy, Fredric March, Dana Andrews, Teresa Wright, Virginia Mayo and Harold Russell.
The film is about three United States servicemen re-adjusting to societal changes and civilian life after coming home from World War II. The three men come from different services with different ranks that do not correspond with their civilian social class backgrounds.
This is an excellent and uplifting movie.
