He’s doing better and breathing better. Years and years of a recliner did a number on him. We are finally going to get some home health care and PT going. He won’t wear his socks with the little nubbies on them so I hover to make sure he has the walker when he walks.

I’m doing ok but my bad ankle flares up by the end of the day. Walking on it a lot is supposed to make it stronger but it’s painful doing it.

Things are better than they were.

Those socks are great. I have some from hospital stays, but I never opened them up. They are for PT in the hospitals where shoes are not commonly worn. I donā€™t slip much at home, but they are kind of cool.

Incidentally, they are color coded with red intended to indicate that the wearer is a definite risk for falls. Anytime you see a Patient wearing them, you should pay a bit extra attention for their safety. Mostly they would have someone walking with them for support in maintaining balance.
