Leak: Hunter Biden Attained $40M Real Estate Deal with Russian Billionaire While Joe Biden Was VP

:) All but some of the text books - they tend to get repetitive
I will say that as I’ve spent more time reading online - especially these threads - that my physical reading has gotten way behind, but ... I always have a book in hand or in my work bag.
My wife actually commented about not seeing a book in my hand a few weeks ago (much to my chagrin)... I’ve been traveling so much for work that it’s all I can do to keep up with reading my news, the thread, and my devotionals.
The good news is that my reading habit seems to have transferred across generations (if not genres) and my oldest daughter is asking for something to read that isn’t so...political or angsty...I’m recommending as a start either Tad William’s Memory, Sorrow, and Thorn trilogy (Dragonbone chair being a favorite) or Orson Scott Card’s Seventh Son/Alvin the Maker series. She was an early reader like me reading advanced at 5-6 years of age.
My younger daughter I was a bit concerned about until I walked into her room when she was in about the 7th grade to tell her supper was ready. She looked up from a Patterson novel and said “Dad, it’s like a movie in my head!”...I knew then I never had to worry about her reading ability ever again...She LOVES ‘The Hobbit’.
I’ve managed to introduce both of them to additional materials over the years...but I still haven’t gotten them to really visit the KJV of the bible much to my disappointment....at least not that they’ve discussed with me and despite gifting them a nice study volume one Easter. I dug deep into it in my Jr. high/early HS years myself.
Interesting at APMEX I can get junk silver for about $21-24 depending on the volume, but anything nicer is in the $30s.
She really has terrible taste in clothes! It is such a contrast to Melania Trump who was always very stylish and perfect for every situation. Jill Biden looks like a tablecloth most of the time.
For anyone wondering why I’m so chatty this evening ... I’m on a 1 day jaunt out of state for a 1/2 day meeting tomorrow that I’m “optional” for but supporting someone else.
As a result I’m bored, watching Bloomberg biz as they gasp about China not doing more for global warming from the big CCP meeting, and realize I’ve left my current reading materials on my home bed-stand....well....to be quite honest... all that and a few drinks to ease recent pains I mentioned.

Deagels is apparently counting on a combination of nuclear war, pandemic and starvation. The numbers feel about right.

Textbooks are my favorites. I like to track the changes in curriculum.
I’m like you, this thread has really cut my physical book reading down (but I count some of the stuff I read here as “novels’). However, I do subscribe to Epoch’s actual newspaper, it’s a weekly an I try to make myself read at least 2 physical sections each week.
I bought 2 hardcovers this past summer, one of them, “What Happened to the Benetts?” was really good! The other on is kinda a slow start.
My kindle is barely touched. I find the story has to be top notch in order to interest me.
Non-fiction is my favorite..of anything! I have Pluto TV, they have a History Channel that shows documentaries, and a couple of other channels that do documentaries. Yesterday I watched a 6 hour story about Roger Ailes, of Fox news fame. That guy was twisted! After awhile, I discovered that I was really invested in the Gretchen Carlson story. Did she win her lawsuit? Did she get her apology? No spoilers here!
And now the low 30s have appeared on my outside thermometer, and the high 60s on the inside one, so it’s time to start tending the woodstove. Drat! Another claim on my time!
I’m glad to hear that you’ve read so many of your books! I have a lot of books, and I’ve read 99% of them. Back in Ought 15, there was The Great Purge. It was so painful! Hundreds of books made it to our local abused women’s shelter. Whole curriculums were tied together with twine, so the new users would have everything they needed to teach their kids at homeschool. Mostly reference books were kept...old dictionaries so I can back up my use of the worlds “queer”, “rainbow” and any other words the Potato in Chief has re-defined.

I’m watching as fast as I can!
