How are we going to find out about it? ;-)
I was just thinking about this today when I had some problems streaming with my Fire stick. Having so much riding on the internet could possibly be a bad idea. Would terrestrial radio survive such a storm?

I see that too. One of the best forms of knowledge to share right now before it is lost is how to heat treat stone for knapping.

A powerful enough solar storm could end life on Earth.
But it hasn't happened yet and nothing we could do about it if it did.
So stick a flower in your hat and be happy.

Or an EMP weapon could take down much of it despite fiber op if it’s in critical areas?
Unless they’re all protected by Faraday Cages?

...while space weather has been going on for thousands of years... No kidding.
That ka-thunk, ka-thunk, ka-thunk noise you just heard was not your dryer. It was me hitting my head on the desk after reading that sentence.

If it gets to that point I’ll do it the Old Fashioned way— Blanket and Pillow.

The
Carrington Event. It happened before, it will happen again. Like hurricanes and earthquakes it is not a question of if, it is just a question of when.

Without internet, I will die. What would there be worth living for? Take away food, medicines, automobiles and cut off my water . . . but leave me with internet.
