We are a sanctuary city.
I do not remember voting on wanting us to be a sanctuary city, shouldn’t the citizens vote on this issue.
I wonder why no more have been sent to Chicago.

I can’t wait until we have our own Nuremberg trials and justice is meted out. Just like the liberals, the Nazis and their collaborators thought they’d not only get away with it, but would benefit from their crimes.
But all across Europe, even though the people were hungry and economies were in a shambles, each community was quick to set up their own trials, punishing their quislings and collaborators for their crimes and cruelty against their own people. The peoples’ voices were silenced during the occupation but their eyes saw every injustice and they waited.
My mother was in Trieste in northern Italy. After Italy switched sides, the partisans that fought the German occupation hung those that collaborated with the Nazis and blackshirts. My mom said she had to avoid being anywhere near the center of town where the punishments took place or she’d be forced to watch. But there were crowds that gathered, probably the families of the partisans killed and Jews from the concentration camp outside Trieste.
Here is my recipe for bread, no kneading.
Hot Casserole Bread
Soften 1 envelope of dry yeast in 1 cup of warm water.
Measure 4 cups of sifted flour in a bowl.
Add 1 tablespoon of sugar.
2 teaspoons of salt.
Mix.
Add water and yeast to mixture and mix.
Add enough water to make a soft dough.
Cover and let rise till double in bulk.
Beat down and divide into 2 buttered greased casserole dishes.
Cover and allow to double in bulk again.
Bake at 400* till brown, about 40 minutes.
Remove from oven and brush top with butter.
I put my bowls on a heating pad to quickly get it to rise and I cover with a tea towel.
Nice light bread, very tasty.
I use electric knife to slice. Freezes well.
Don't forget the companies and government agencies.
ESPECIALLY them.
Those creeps are still lying and selling their poisons...or forcing us to buy them.
Now that really is a no knead recipe! I look forward to trying it. Is there a reason why it’s casserole dishes and not a loaf pan? I wonder if it would be OK in one. I don’t really have casserole dishes.
Never tried it in a pan, do not know why it would not work.
