How Will Florida Handle the November Election Process?
Posted on 09/30/2022 7:08:59 PM PDT by Be Careful
Given the depth and breadth of destruction that will last well in to the future, how can Florida even begin to handle the November election, which is only 5-6 weeks away? Thoughts?

Most of the damage was in heavily Republican areas. Could be a problem for DeSantis.

If there were demonion voting machines destroyed by the hurricane, that would be a good thing, right?

Hurricane Michael hit the deep red panhandle Oct. 10, 2018. Rick Scott was governor, voting happened in those counties and Ron DeSantis won. Don’t worry, we got it covered.

If it’s important to the people they will make it in to vote. Otherwise, they won’t.

Has that area been hit by the hurricane?
To: Be Careful
Hurricanes are like 40 mile wide lawn mowers. They leave a cut through cities and forests, but for the most part, people clean up and move on. The entire west and south coasts did not get any damage.
Even the roughed up Ft Myers area will be noisy with construction next week.

You’re a youngster. Paper ballots? Us old timers had papyrus ballots.

No and they should not.
Federal elections are held on the same day in all states.

Rest assured that the Democrats will see this as an opportunity to steal the elections in Florida. Guaranteed.

Just let those from the devastated areas vote at any polling location with voter ID only. The state already has a list of voters who are registered to vote.

Hurricane Andrew was much worse. Then there was the hurricane that hit Mexico Beach, FL on the panhandle - 5 or so years ago. Everything was wiped out below I-10 for miles and miles.
